One thing that I think a lot of us are forgetting is this.

We (collectively) as a nation voted for president Obama.

We (collectively) as individual states voted for the people in the senate

We (collectively) as people in individuual congressional districts voted for our congressmen.

And particularly in Massachusetts we collectively have voted time and time again for the same group of democrats time and time again.

Unlike 1773 when we had taxation without representation we have representation and we still have done this to ourselves. Our founding fathers would be ashamed.

As I have said over and over again we always get the government we deserve, if the protests of yesterday are to achieve anything we need to follow up with candidates who will support fiscal responsibility.

We need to vote for them and support them politically and we need to put the fear of God into our reps who have time and time again forgotten who they work for.

If we neglect this then yesterday will simply have been a nice day at the common.

It’s our choice, what will it be?

Here is my Tea party gallery. I like the dog’s sign best.

I really didn’t care of the 1-20-13 Tee shirt. I never liked the 1-20-09 shirts. It seems whiny to me.

People who pretend that this is something that it is not are making a big mistake.

Update: Jules Crittenden was there too.

Update 2: Michelle Malkin has a roundup

Update 3: BTW feel free to download any and all of these photos if you want them, if you use them in a post please credit Datechguy blog. Yes Captain I know I took your Zorro picture without permission two years ago when I did the podcast interview with you. That was wrong and I’m sorry about that. I still think you looked cool in the costume and I’m a big Zorro fan.

Well I’m against abortion, against illegal immigration and against mortgaging our kids future.

According to the report that makes me a right wing extremest.

And I am going to a tea party protest tomorrow so that clinches it.

Clear on the concept

Well I know nothing about SUU university but i do know one thing. At least one Senior by the name of Jeffrey Wilbur paid attention when reading the Constitution much closer than the administration of his college to wit:

In light of SUU officials plan to designate “Free Speech Zones” on campus, I thought I’d offer my assistance. Grab a map. OK, ready?

All right, you see that big area between Canada and Mexico, surrounded by lots of blue ink on the East and West? You see it?

There’s your bloody Free Speech Zone.

Jeffrey Wilbur

Senior communication major from Bountiful

This has gotten attention. No less than the great free speech crusader from the north Ezra Levent quotes him positively.

But think about it for a moment. Is this not a horrible thing that the public expression that the entire US is a free speech zone is so novel that we bloggers are celebrating it? It should go without saying. That fact condemns our politically correct and cowardly society more than anything else.
