Question: When is it OK in the age of civility to call for lynching, stringing up or sending a black man back to the fields?

Our friends on the left decided to protest the Koch Brothers conference. In the event sponsored by Common Cause, AFFCE, The Ruckus Society, 350, Greenpeace, Code Pink, the Progressive Democrats of America, the public attending had some choice words for Justice Clarence Thomas:

Big Government noted something missing:

At the morning panel event featuring UCI Law Dean Erwin Chemerinsky, activist Jim Hightower, Center for American Progress journalist and “Koch Brothers expert” Lee Fang, California Nurses Association co-president DeAnn McEwan, and President Obama’s former green jobs czar Van Jones, we were forewarned of the impending demise of both the environment and democracy at the hands of corporate lobbyists and their government shills.

There was eerily no mention of GE, AEP, Goldmann Sachs, Pfizer, Aetna, Alcoa, Xerox, Google, Motorola, IBM, or several other corporate giants who profit at taxpayer expense via their K Street connections to the Obama White House as well as the very economic and regulatory policies they lobby that these Common Cause panelists commonly endorse. But I’m sure that’s only because no one wanted to point out the obvious. Right?

I’m sure the No Labels crowd, the Major networks and the Cable networks will rapidly report on these racist declarations of white folks against a black man with power? Hot Air asks:

Will the Southern Poverty Law Center report on the “Rage on the Left” and label Common Cause a racist hate group?

R.B is more blunt:

Let’s just imagine if the video above was taken during a Tea Party rally and several participants stated that a sitting US Supreme Court Justice should be sent “back to the fields” or “strung up”. Picture the news coverage. Predict what Chris Matthews or Rachel Maddow or Keith Olbermann (if he still had a show) would be saying right now and over the next few days. It would be non-stop. Democrat Congressional members would be using the tape as “proof” of what is really behind the opposition to ObamaCare or any other piece of legislation they want to get passed.

Nonsense I’m sure they will give this story all the attention the big three gave the Planned Parenthood story this week.

Question: Why do I keep pushing Hallie Miller for the Savvy Magazine contest?

How do I come to this conclusion? Consider, this is a chance in a lifetime for this young lady. She is currently right on the edge of making her goal that she has dreamt about. So naturally one would think that she would do all she can to not only promote herself but to discourage voting for those behind her.

You would think wrong:

And by the way, there are over 1000 of us trying to get to those top ten positions. I would urge you, if you don’t think I am top ten material, to scroll through the small icons to the right of mine and pick one of those ladies! One little click of your finger can help make somebodies dream a reality!

Ask yourself, would you be willing to put up that sentence if you were in her place?

I wish her father was here in Massachusetts, I’d like to shake his hand and buy him a beer. This is exactly the type of young lady I’d like my sons to end up with. Lots of women have beauty, how many today have honor?

Go vote for her every day once a day here.

Question: How much does the media, particularly MSNBC hate Sarah Palin?

Norah O’Donnell makes a good point that President Bush’s book has a broader historical appeal but you are having the Morning Joe table talk up Jeb Bush and the Bush family in order to favorably compare them to Sarah Palin.

I am an unabashed fan of George W. Bush and will likely get his book sometime next year along with Palin’s 2nd book as my situation improves but to see this kind of stuff on MSNBC speaks volumes, I know president Obama’s performance has really boosted President Bush number in comparison but this is a turnaround of epic proportions.

I really thought it would take a generation for attitudes about George W. to change but nothing speeds up a time-line like Palin Derangement syndrome. It is much stronger than Bush Derangement Syndrome ever was.

Question: How can you tell the election season is over?

The Obama Administration plans to withdraw National Guard troops from the Texas, New Mexico and California borders by the end February under a new Southwest security plan, even as turmoil in Mexican border cities grows, according to documents obtained by The Washington Examiner.

A letter sent to various members of the Texas Congressional delegation from Texas’ Gov. Rick Perry’s office says, “In February, 2011, the Texas, New Mexico, and California National Guard forces that were deployed to the border in September, 2010, under President’s Obama’s Southwest Border Augmentation Plan, will have 30 days to complete a total draw down of forces.”

The election is over and they will not need those votes for another 18 months, time to build good will with the MayDay March Crowd again.
