He didn’t know exactly where or when he was, but the uniforms and countryside gave him a general idea of the time and place.
Nor did he have any clue how he got there, although suddenly traveling thousands of miles away and dozens of years in the past was not unknown to him.
What he did know is what was before him, a group of unarmed men about to be slaughtered. However hesitant he might be to risk altering history he would not stand by and watch without acting.
And so he descended in a streak of red and blue.
