To this I replied that the Fugitive Slave act did not affect a foreign country, which Virginia claimed to be, and she must reckon it one of the infelicities of her position that insofar at least she was taken at her word

A lot of people have a lot of things to say about the Israeli strike on Iranian Nuke sites but rather than get deeply into this let me just state the obvious:

• Iran has openly spent years developing a nuclear program with the intent to destroy Israel.
• Iran has openly spent considerable effort to make war on Israel through proxies.
• Iran has publicly stated for decades their intent to destroy Israel, exterminate the Jews and has openly advanced that position worldwide at every opportunity.

Yesterday Israel gave a response to these forthright and open declarations by Iran that can be summed up in three simple words:

We believe you.
