My review of the Big Finish 8th doctor adventure HotHouse (number 3.2) featuring Paul McGann as the 8th doctor and Sheridan Smith as Lucie Miller is available at Amazon.com here.

I guess the McGann fans must be reading this blog, my “who is your favorite doctor” poll currently has him in the lead, with Tennent (10th) 2nd and Tom Baker (4th my favorite) 3rd. William Hartnell gets absolutely no respect in that poll, it’s a crying shame.

What would be a bigger shame is paying $40+ for this when Mike’s comics will sell it to you for $13 bucks.

You will note that I haven’t been reviewing these things in order, basically I’ve reviewed them in the order that I’ve picked them up. Once I have the entire set I’ll be more organized in the reviews and perhaps link to a few I did before I was blogging.

My review of the penultimate Big Finish 6th Doctor Charley Pollard adventure Paper Cuts number #125 is available at Amazon.com here.

This also contains the next part of the Three Companions Story. This has really been interesting. I think the use of this kind of backfeature might be a great way to get people to actually buy these instead of pirating them.

I really don’t understand why Amazon US doesn’t carry those but that is what Mike’s comics is for.

Mike and Patty are sweethearts and you will not find a retailer more considerate than Mike’s. You will be happy to give them your business.

Update: I don’t know how I managed to forget the link but it’s there now.

Munchkin Quest 2: Amazon Review

My review of the Expansion for Munchkin Quest; Munchkin Quest 2, Looking for Trouble. Is available at Amazon.com here.

If you like me have constantly played with a group above 4 you will need this. We played with 7, to do that we added a d8 to replace the color die and when the monster belonged to the “seventh” color, they just appeared without a base.

If you are not familiar with the franchise, this game is a parody of D & D. All the fighting, all the treasure, none of the role playing. And of course silly stuff.

This game is fun, and that’s really what it’s all about.

My review of the Big Finish Doctor Who Companion Chronicles adventure #4.2 The Glorious Revolution staring Frazer Hines as Jamie McCrimmon is available at Amazon.com here.

Hines companion chronicles are always fun not only because he is a good performer but also because his 2nd doctor voice is almost indistinguishable from the real Patrick Troughton.
