…and the coverage is rather fair.

It’s hard to sustain a daily protest, particularly if you don’t see immediate effect but Ted, Christine and co carry on.

It’s always gratifying to see good local coverage, if only national media did such a good job.

If you missed the photos from the protest they are here.

…and decides to report the Tea Party events as a racistbigothomophobenaziviolent mob, reference this post at Michelle’s and keep it in mind.

MSNBC has already spent a week promoting a special on Tim McVeigh where Maddow is going to try to paint the tea parties with that brush, be ready for more of the same.

As Glenn has said BRING YOUR CAMERAS!

Update: I’m as optimistic that the media will be covering this stuff as the Lonely conservative is about them covering this stuff.

I know for decades the NYT has acted as if communists were simply benign creatures who only have a different view than greedy capitalists. In their minds the west has always oversold the evils contained within.

So imagine my surprise when I saw this article:

Even if we have scant evidence, most foreign journalists have come to assume our phone conversations are monitored. We have learned to remove our cellphone SIM cards when meeting dissidents. At the office, we often reflexively lower our voices when discussing “politically sensitive” topics.

Whenever I see stuff like this I remember a series of Cox & Fordum cartoons where Jimmy Carter would be asking “But Why?” questions and the answer would be “I’m a communist dictator you fool!”

China has long been a source of virus’ and spyware. Anyone who thinks that this is a coincidence is just deluding themselves.

Don’t worry the next time there is a question that doesn’t cover an employee of the NYT I predict that things will be just as they were before, particularly if a republican is in office.

…then you know your history, or have seen Maafa 21:

The willingness to black America to support a party’s whose primary sacrament is abortion never ceases to amaze me.

It is no coincidence that planned parenthood’s wants to get in here as the demographic changes take place. You can’t imagine how discouraging it has been to hear people argue to my face that it’s good for Planned Parenthood to come to Fitchburg to get rid of minorities on the dole. To have that said to me in the 21st century in Massachusetts is one of the most discouraging things I’ve ever experienced.

Much more here.
