I’m likely alone on the right on this TSA issue

…but guys remember one we have a public limit in terms of what we can’t do that is where our enemies are going to concentrate.

Sitcom culture and Airplane Airplane 2 (Warning link NSFW) not withstanding may have sex on the mind 24/7 but let me tell you the TSA guys at the airport are more jaded than every doctor. They don’t care what you’ve got with those body scanners, they are thinking “is this the guy with the bomb?”

Remember when the guy already wired to blow goes into that line (and that day will come) it will that person who is doing that mundane repetitive job who will be getting it. Don’t think for one moment they don’t know it.

Yes I’m sure that we can do it better but eyes on the prize. The goal is no exploding planes. If we are meeting this goal I’m good.

But the reason why we are having this debate and searching Nuns and old ladies is because we are too politically correct to admit that it is Radical Islam that produces the need for all of this nonsense.

Until we are willing to face that fact straight up we will be squabbling about breasts and groping.

Remember those DOJ hearings that the morning shows ignored for the Colbert Hearings? Well there is another interesting development:

E-mails newly obtained by Judicial Watch strengthen contentions that politics motivated the Obama Justice Department’s dismissal of a voter-intimidation case despite video of a nightstick-wielding New Black Panther Party member at a Philadelphia polling place.

The e-mails show two political appointees’ involvement in Justice’s decision to dismiss, the watchdog group says. And, it notes, those e-mails contradict what Thomas Perez, assistant attorney general for Justice’s Civil Rights Division, told the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights under oath: that decision involved “only career people.”emphasis mine

The key words here are under oath.

I don’t expect to see much of this on the MSM, they should heed the warning:

One might survive in a niche market but if your business is information and analysis and you are being scooped by people in the street you’d better look for another business pronto.

Don’t say we didn’t tell you.

Pay no attention to those weapons in the building supply box

You know can we stop pretending that Iran is anything other than a thug state?

Iran is claiming there was a “misunderstanding” when its arms, mislabeled as “building supplies,” were seized last month at a Nigerian port.

Oh a Misunderstanding that’s it we always misplace Artillery rockets and ordnance are always accidentally packed in creates labeled building supplies:

According to the Associated Press, there were concerns that the arms were headed for Nigerian politicians who intended to respond with violence if they lost in upcoming elections.

And the left wants to trust these guys with nukes? Well never fear the Nigerians aren’t taking this lying down:

if an investigation proved Iran had violated United Nations sanctions and international law, the African nation would consider reporting the Islamic Republic to the U.N.

Oh THAT’S gonna scare them.

I suspect we won’t take Iran seriously until there is a big creator in Tel Avi. But I also suspect there are more than a few people who consider that a feature and not a bug.

Rewards for services rendered?

You know in the middle of a recession where people a struggling to find work of any kind this story is extraordinary.

The union is seeking a three-year contract that would increase its members’ share of health insurance premiums from 13 percent to 20 percent by the end of the deal. It is also seeking wage increases totaling 9.5 percent.

RTA Transit officials said they can offer only a one-year deal because they don’t know what money will be available beyond that. They have also said that an agreement is not possible because the union refused to agree to a 25 percent share of health insurance premiums.

The possibility of a strike alarmed WRTA patrons, who expressed concern about how they were going to get about if the transportation system ground to a halt.

Right now both sides are in the 2nd day of a 15 day “cooling off” period but as Sam Rosario host of the show following mine on WCRN pointed out the politicians have had no word to say about a Union asking for a 9.5% Payraise during the worst economic times in 80 years?

Perhaps Jim McGovern could be asked but then again how many democrats in this state owe their elections to the Union activist vote efforts on election day?

Meanwhile the Friends of Obama are also getting their reward.

Now comes word that Torquemada HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius has approved a whopping 111 waivers for businesses of all sizes, along with more unions and other providers of health insurance. The escapees include employers of many low-wage and part-time workers whose health insurance plans would otherwise be dropped, including Darden Restaurants — the parent company of the Olive Garden and Red Lobster and other chains, which employ some 34,000 people.

If you were on the right side of the debate apparently you get the right side of the administration you get what you need:

The issue, Dear Friends, is not the waivers. Or Obamacare itself.

The issue, Dear Friends, is that Dear Leader decides who gets a waiver.

Your rights no longer are endowed by your Creator.

Make everything illegal (okay, bit of an overstatement, but you get the point) and then require people to ask for permission. It’s about control, and from where power emanates.

I guess if you support the left all things are possible and nothing is objectionable.
