Rush Limbaugh 11/30/09 :

Rose Mary Woods where are you now?

DaTechGuy 11/29/09:

The woman above is Rose Mary Woods. She was President Nixon’s secretary who claims to have “accidentally” erased the 18 1/2 minute gap in the Watergate tapes. Lets pretend it is 1973 and All the Watergate tapes were erased and only “reconstructions” created by the Nixon White House were available. Would you have taken the Nixon White House’s word that the tapes were “accidentally” erased? Did you take Rose Mary Woods word? Is that credible?

It’s a cheap ego boost but it might drive hits so i’ll take it.

Why I love Amazon…

I did all my Christmas Shopping on Thanksgiving morning. Because of the sources of all the stuff they are coming in 6 different shipments.

In the last 48 hours even though I choose super saver shipping EVERY ONE OF MY ORDERS HAS SHIPPED!

That will make my Christmas very Merry, I’ll have to wrap em all this week while the family is at school. I also have to decide where to put em since we usually get the tree around the 3rd week of Advent.

But Great Job amazon, thanks muchly!

One year later, thanks for stopping by.

And a lot has happened in that time (unfortunately a job hasn’t been one of them) I’ve written a lot of stuff (just under 2000 posts), met some new people and vented my spleen quite a bit.

I’m no Instapundit, Hotair or any kind of big blog, but to the tens of thousands who have visited and have either stayed or quickly left let me say it’s been a pleasure to share my thought and my year with you. May they next year treat us all well.

I’ve never been a Black Friday kind of guy…

…but with a machine on the blink and WalMart offering a laptop for under $200 (even if it was an E-Machine) I figured it was worth my time if I was up.

I woke up around 3 and went downstairs sometime near 4. Since WalMart opened at 5 I figured I’d hit there around 45 min early with an I-Pod in the ear and a book in the hand.

Much to my surprise when I got there the parking lot was already full and the store already open, apparently despite the flyer they decided to open an hour earlier. So by the time I walked in around 20 past 4 the lines in electronics were huge and the laptops were already gone. There was a 2nd WalMart about 20 min away but I finally decided against it. There were netbooks at a comparable price but that wasn’t what I was looking for.

So instead I am home and blogging if I was able to live without it a week ago I can certainly do so now and maybe I’ll catch a little more shuteye.
