…by her ability to make the worst possible decisions of any candidate ever as Gateway Pundit reports.

I can’t believe the person running her campaign has a job and I don’t.

This is a Nelson moment if I ever saw one.

Of course if certain union guys know something; I don’t she will post this about me in a couple of days.

to paraphrase my favorite president Grover Cleveland. Camp of the Saints rightly points out that if we treat Sarah the way the media treated President Obama during the last election, we will not only be wrong but we will be doing ourselves and her no favors:

Friendly advice should be taken as such. And conservatives should never fall for a cult of personality. Sarah Palin is an admirable lady. She is not a savior. ‘Nuff said.

Mindless idolatry
is no way to pick a candidate. Remember the line from the movie The Buccaneer

British Captain: I may have been misinformed. I understood that Mr. LaFitte was in command.

Lafitte: If your offer is good it will stand up under fire.

Do we have so little faith in Palin’s ability to stand up under fire or to recover from a mistake? If our candidate and our positions are good, then they can stand criticism.. If not then not only will we lose, we will deserve to. For Reference see Coakley, Martha.

…with people spending money that is not theirs to help others:

The catastrophic earthquake in Haiti has prompted many staffers to make donations to aid quake victims. We encourage that. However, if you have an AT&T cellphone, you may have received a text offering you a chance to make a contribution to assist them by simply texting a number. Remember, however, that if you have a company-paid phone, that bill goes to the company and is paid by the company. it is not a personal contribution. So, Bill Schmidt reminds everyone that if you would like to make a contribution, please use a method other than this one.

Let’s play a game: How many times can you re-write the message above substituting the name of a different government program each time for “Haiti” and “company paid phone” and “paid by the company” with “paid by the American Taxpayer” without repeating yourself?

The only rule would be that it has to be a program that the New York Times supports. I don’t think I have the bandwidth.

…as we walked back into the house from a Brown event. He is on it, have no fear.

Update: I’ll have my own stuff up as soon as possible.
