How to steal an election

Back in 2000 World Net daily had this article concerning stealing elections and the tactics of a lawyer named Tim Downs:

“The first rule is, you keep counting until you’re ahead. And if that doesn’t put you ahead, you recount, re-recount — you keep counting until you’re ahead. If you’re behind, then you’ve got nothing to lose.”

Second, Nolan said, “the more times those ballots are handled, the more chance there is that chads will break loose” and hence disqualify the ballot.

Third, he said, “the minute you’re ahead, you stop and declare yourself the victor.”

Looks like Al Franken’s people have learned the lesson well:

The AP puts Norm Coleman’s lead at two votes.

Ace doesn’t like the look of it.

Well managed to avoid the internet the entire morning running errands and cleaning house, posting will be more active this evening.

It’s amazing how much you can get done around the house when the laptop is shut off.

Sgt Schultz at Justice

It appears that our prospective attorney general is blinder than the Governor of New York. As Michelle Malkin reports that when assigned to check for corruption in Chicago back in 2004 he saw nothing NUTH-THING:

So: Governor Blago appoints Obama AG nominee Eric Holder to investigate corruption. Holder receives $300,000 for his legal services. Corruption probe finds no wrongdoing.

And it looks like it isn’t just eyesight, he according to the Sun Times has memory problems too:

Holder, however, omitted that event from his 47-page response to a Senate Judiciary Committee questionnaire made public this week — an oversight he plans to correct after a Chicago Sun-Times inquiry, Obama’s transition team indicated late Tuesday.

The Captain says aloud what the rest of the press hasn’t bothered to say:

Remember that cesspool of corruption I mentioned? Looks like it existed after all — and the corruptocrat Blagojevich felt comfortable in appointing Holder to look after his interests, and Kelly’s, and Rezko’s. Maybe we should find out why.

I’m sure our democratic friends will investigate this most completely, oh wait the president elect’s office tells us he already did and found Nothing NUTH-THING.

No wonder Joe Scarborough is so upset

If we wanted to see Schultz why have a cheap (well not cheap) imitation when the real thing is available?

Axelrod on Morning Joe

Typing as I see it so it is naturally abbreviated:

Mika asks for information:

Axelrod: “Nobody is more eager than us to release that”

Joe: Help us out with some inconsistencies

Axelrod questions the question get the question straight.

Joe lets get your story straight first.
We didn’t even support Blagojevich for governor in the primaries

Joe interrupts: Rahm said they laid out Blago’s campaign.

Axelrod: …There is not a person in Chicago that would say Obama and Blago are close…

Mika: Is there a disconnect between Emanuel and the Obama team?

Axelrod: He has been magnificent and will be a great assist to the team

Mika: asks about the Jarrett on the list for that senate

Axelrod; objects says there is no evidence released that she was considered for that senate seat , don’t make that assumption. Wait for the release of the tapes.

This was watching a game of dodgeball.
