…And now less than 20 years after the Massachusetts Supreme Court redefined Marriage by a 4-3 vote and Mitt Romney did all he could to let it ride to keep himself as a viable presidential candidate in the eyes of the deep state Democrats are doing this:

As reported by Fox News, the “Amend the Code for Marriage Equality Act” was introduced by Congresswoman Julia Brownley (D-Calif.), and would change many existing laws by removing “husband” and “wife” from pre-existing text.

Less than 20 years and the left is openly trying to do what they pretended for years they had no intention of even thinking of.

Now granted the GOP is unlikely to let this pass but they will not control the house forever.

If you are surprised by any of this then you’re a fool.

I was slightly surprised to see this at Gateway Pundit:

Trans influencer and biological male Dylan Mulvaney appears to be trying to cash in on his newfound infamy after sparking a national Bud Light boycott this summer by soliciting speaking gigs on college campuses.

“Booking speaking opportunities for the upcoming 23/24 school year and would love to come visit,” Mulvaney told his 1.8 million followers in an Instagram Story on Wednesday, according to a report by the New York Post.

I’m slightly confused, I thought that the US was such a dangerous place for Dylan Mulvaney that he had to retreat to the safety of the land of Alpacas?

Apparently the prospect of getting far leftist universities to pay large sums of money and the knowledge that the violent protesters who have harassed conservatives on campus across America with the support of their administrators would welcome him with open arms are a great cure to those fears.

Unexpectedly of course.

Closing thought, we have a capitalist system and if Mulvaney can coax five or six figure speaking fees from sucker colleges there is no reason for him not to do so. It’s a reflection on the colleges, not on him.

…but it’s 2023 and leftists are all in bed together…

…and they’d like your kids to join them.

Over the past few days my News Feed on Facebook has been completely filled with this Ware Ma Facebook post.  That is because my friend’s list consists of mostly Conservatives and Libertarians.  We are all absolutely overjoyed that this police department from a medium sized town in the western part of the state issued such a forceful and well thought out condemnation of  Governor Healey’s gun grabbing abomination.

Here are the most powerful and eloquent paragraphs from that post for your enjoyment.

The Ware Police Department would like to bring an important matter to your attention: the proposed anti-gun Bill currently under consideration (HD 4420, An Act Modernizing Firearms Laws). We understand that this state-level legislation has raised concerns among law-abiding citizens who value their Second Amendment rights.

We recognize that the right to bear arms is a fundamental aspect of our nation’s history and an essential component of personal and collective security. As members of the police force, we are committed to upholding the law and defending the rights of our community members.

A plethora of blatantly unconstitutional proposals litter this travesty of a Bill, too many to mention here; however, of particular egregiousness is the criminalization of carrying firearms in certain so-called “prohibited locations”, including businesses and private properties, EVEN WHILE HOLDING A VALID LICENSE TO CARRY. Not even off-duty police officers will be exempted from this appalling mandate.

Gun Free zones have been proven to have no effect on stopping crime, in fact they embolden criminals to seek out these areas as soft targets of opportunity, where their chances of meeting resistance will be minimal.

This Bill does not address criminals. Rather it focuses on making criminals out of law-abiding citizens and further hampers police agencies from combating true crime.

We believe that public input and engagement are crucial in shaping legislation that reflects the diverse perspectives and concerns of our citizens. Therefore, we encourage you, the citizens of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, who have a long and storied history of throwing off the chains of our oppressors (let not this tradition die in the hands of our generation), to actively participate in the democratic process by voicing your opinions and taking appropriate actions to safeguard your rights.

The author of that post got everything right.  He or she must be a scholar of history and the Constitution.  Every word is accurate.  I especially liked the condemnation of gun free zones.
