…It’s a really big deal particularly since Baker is the only living ex doctor from the original series that hasn’t done audios since giving up the role, but I have one thing to say to the BBC:
Don’t you think you could have managed better cover art than this? Take a look at the cover art for the Big Finish series that I’ve reviewed over the last year. There is no comparison.
They should have hired Colin Brockhurst. This is why

Tom Baker is to return to Doctor Who in four new audio adventures for BBC Radio, reported to be airing from September.
Baker discusses his return to the role which made him a star in the latest edition of Doctor Who Magazine, which is in shops today.
You don’t get much more earth shattering in the Who-verse than this. Tv Squad says:
This is big news. Until David Tennant, Baker was synonymous with the role yet absolutely refused to do any performances related to it. Big Finish has been doing Doctor Who audio dramas for a decade with four of the other actors who played the part, yet the company was never able to snag Tom Baker for one.

This episode is clearly a comedy but the comedy doesn’t come at a cost of some high drama. There are also many plot twists that will keep you on your toes. Fans of the reclusive leftist will like one particular aspect concerning Erimem and broken arms. One twist involves a technical violation of the license agreement between Big Finish and the BBC:
The terms of our licence with the BBC allow us to only produced ‘Classic’ Doctor Who. This means that we can only use the first eight Doctors and their companions. Anything connected to the new series – even characters who are no longer featured – cannot be used by us in a Big Finish Doctor Who production.
The violation is rather small and very amusing. As the BBC gave them a new license it apparently was a big deal to them however for us Dr. Who fans it adds up to a big smile.
…and it has nothing to do with anything the administration or the Palestinian authority or anything anyone is saying about the church or even the job hunt which is going poorly.
Miracles happen, but this means blogging may be kinda light today.
But if you need a quick smile what appears to be the climax of Rich’s comic strip might help.
I sure hope it is available in book form sooner or later. It would make an awesome audio as well
