There were over 100 votes between A & B already and a very steady stream of voters
This is the first time I’ve ever seen poll watchers
Two years ago I was the lonely person holding a sign for McCain and Palin. today there were 5 people holding republican signs and a single person holding one sign…for Sheriff.
If this is being repeated all over the state then democrats….Be Afraid, be very afraid!
Update: yup is should have said AM
One word for Democrats in Massachusetts FEAR!

If you have to describe the mood in this state for democrats FEAR is the best word to describe it.
It is palatable, sitting democrats tout their conservative records, statewide office holders duck debates and people who have had term after term spending hundreds of thousands of dollars to try to keep seats that they haven’t had to fight to keep for years.
I talked to a statehouse contact this weekend and the amount of panic in the statehouse (read Democratic party) of what the results Tuesday will bring and palatable fear of the voter.
The famous verse is “Fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; wisdom and instruction fools despise.” Proverbs 1:7. Fear and respect of the voter is the beginning of wisdom for elected officials who somehow have forgotten that their jobs and prerogatives are completely dependent on the decision of the voters to send them back.
The fault of the state of affairs, is frankly the voters of the state. We have had the power for decades and convinced ourselves we did not.
In a republic we always get the government we deserve, may we deserve better than what we have.
Update: A expression of the panic democrats are in is the “wingnut” mailer from Jim McGovern. Unlike most democrats he has NOT run away from his far left roots and even Marty Lamb (and I ) give him credit for that, but like almost every democrat he has found the need to go not just negative but CRAZY negative:
The real irony of the attack comes on page two, with a particular picture:
The photo on the flyer comes from the Tea Party protest of the Worcester City Council’s attempt to boycott Arizona for attempting to enforce immigration law. At that particular protest said protester in the photo got into Marty Lamb’s face and called this relative of Holocaust survivors…wait for it a Nazi!
I was shocked at the story and interviewed Marty about it BACK IN MAY months ago, but the MSM didn’t find enough irony of a tolerant liberal calling a Jewish candidate a Nazi interesting enough to report on.
McGovern apparently has no sense of Irony.
Stacy McCain gives the perfect illustration of this election

In his spectator article:
John Barrow is a Democrat endorsed by Barack Obama. Or, depending on who he’s talking to, John Barrow is fighting against Barack Obama and the Democrats. Judging from his campaign’s mixed messages, Barrow believes a majority of voters in Georgia’s 12th District want to re-elect a one-man bipartisan compromise.
There have been exceptions but this has been the story of democrats this year.
Catch up with more of Stacy’s final road trip of the election season here.
