Crowder on Pelsoi

This is funny and Nasty:

As a political matter I think every day she stay in that position is a day closer to a republican majority again, and frankly she represents one of the most far out liberal districts in the nation, so she fits. Remember in her last race she was the more CONSERVATIVE candidate.

Via Ann Althouse let us note a seminal moment in the Obama administration:

the Daily show discovers that Obama is like Bush.

You will note that the sparks really started to fly at Pelosi once John Stewart went after her. It’s one thing for Rush or Hanity or even Bill O’Reilly to go after her. The left couldn’t care less. To their true believers they are not legatmate sources, to those same people however Jon Stewart is.

Jon Stewart has now directly ridiculed president Obama by name. He has done it on a primary news source for the far left and for many young people who pay no attention, and not only that he has done it in a way that a person who has no idea about politics can understand.

People may not realize how big this is. Will this mean that other comics will now be willing to hit him? Will this give the imprimatur to other to speak up? Only time will tell, but the first time is always easiest.

This settles it, if this guy gets within 2 hours of drive time to me, I’m buying a ticket to see it.

I actually think Hilton figures no publicity is bad publicity so the longer this goes on the more hits he will get but that’s gotta leave a bruse.

What a difference a laugh track makes

At least that’s what I thought after watching Red Dwarf back to earth online.

It had some decent parts and some really good lines. I thought the interaction between the crew and the public was a bit odd, but then again perhaps the British public is very different with their stars than we are.

Only the really funny jokes rose to the top to make me laugh, the others sort of bounced off. It was a lot like the McHales Navy movie from the mid 60’s. It was funny but the lower end jokes, without the help of a laugh track just didn’t do it.

If you are a fan It is incumbent on you to see it, if not start with the actual season one and move forward or you will find it lame.

Oh and BTW someone on Youtube took two scenes and added a laugh track to them. Once you have finished watching the show, watch this and compare. You will find the laugh track really makes a difference.
