both starring Peter Cushing as a very human Are now available for free viewing on Youtube:

The first was called Dr. Who and the Daleks the second and more notable one is Daleks Invasion Earth 2150 A.D. made notable by the appearance of Bernard Cribbins who would later play Wilfred Mott opposite the 10th doctor.

Neither is anything near canonical to the series but they made a respectable amount of money in the mid 60’s.

I wish I had thought of it myself:

It is time for the weekly round-up of favorite posts from my blogroll. As usual, these are not ranked, but in alphabetical order by blog title.

Plus you’ve gotta love someone who is into Dr. Who almost as much as me, (I don’t see anything on the big finish stuff)

On a side note I was reading his review of Waters of Mars. It was a good episode, I don’t know if it deserved a Hugo, particularly since there is a plot hole the size of Cuba. Namely that the Doctor could have easily taken Brooke & Co them to the far future to live and not affected the timelines in any way.

He has a huge number of Doctor Who posts, for that alone his site should be read a lot more often, however he never touched the Big Finish audios. He should try them, he’ll like them.

Any Conservative Blogger who is into Doctor Who…

How Old was the doctor when he “borrowed on a finders keepers basis” the Tardis?

answer 236 years old

How do we know.

In The Pirate Planet episode one Romana states he has operated his TARDIS for 523 years. In the first episode of the Ribos operation she points out the Doctor is 759 years old.
