Thanks to many decades of progressive indoctrination an alarming number of Americans mistakenly believe those individuals holding political office or occupying some government bureaucratic positions are the lords and masters over the entire population.  The level and wide spread nature of ignorance regarding this most fundamental principle would shock the founding fathers of the United States.

Control over the governmental by the people was one of the most important founding concepts of this nation.  That concept is enshrined in the Preamble of our Constitution:

We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

Because We the People created this nation we are in charge.  When we hold elections we do not choose rulers we choose elected officials who are our political servants.  Elected officials we have sent to the United States Senate and House of Representatives have ignored the will of the people and the Constitution for decades yet we keep reelecting these individuals and when we do elect someone new they exercise the same bad behaviors as incumbents. 

Our elected officials have created a gigantic federal bureaucracy and given that unconstitutional leviathan enormous amounts of power over every aspect of our lives. 

None of this is right yet we do nothing about it. The Declaration of Independence states quite clearly that We the People of the United States have every right to fix everything that is wrong with the federal government.

We hold these truths to be self-evident: That all men are created equal; that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness; that, to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed; that whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles, and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness.

We are now in the middle of our most severe constitutional crises since the Civil War thanks to the concerted effort by Democrats in six State to steal the Presidential election from President Trump.  So far all efforts to set things right so far have failed because all efforts have relied on some level of government.  Because the election is in the process of being stolen for Joe Biden, he will not have the consent of the governed.  We the people have every right to make sure the rightful president is ultimately inaugurated.

Democrat and RINO governors are placing all residents of their states under house arrest and shuttering businesses across their states in the name of fighting Coronavirus.  These extremely harsh measures violate the constitutions of the states and are not supported by any form of science.  These measures are best challenged on the state level.

The Constitution of Massachusetts states quite clearly that we the people of this state are the absolute bosses here.

Article V.  All power residing originally in the people, and being derived from them, the several magistrates and officers of government, vested with authority, whether legislative, executive, or judicial, are their substitutes and agents, and are at all times accountable

The Constitution of Massachusetts states clearly also that we have every right to take charge and reform our state government if it becomes abusive to us, which it clearly is right now.

Article VII.  Government is instituted for the common good; for the protection, safety, prosperity and happiness of the people; and not for the profit, honor, or private interest of any one man, family, or class of men: Therefore the people alone have an incontestable, unalienable, and indefeasible right to institute government; and to reform, alter, or totally change the same, when their protection, safety, prosperity and happiness require it.

Martin Luther King Jr. and Gandhi proved that mass nonviolent civil disobedience is by far the most effective means of dealing with any form of government injustice.

As every day passes it appears more likely that the Democrats will succeed in their theft of the presidency for Joe Biden.  By all appearances, all that stands in the way of the theft being successful are the Republicans in the US House and the US Senate, where Vice President Pence will play a major role.  It is a long shot considering how spineless the Republicans in the State legislatures have proved to be in handling the election theft and how spineless the establishment Republicans in Washington DC have proved to be time and again.

On January 6th the electoral votes will be counted during a joint session of the US Congress.  Thankfully seven states, including all six of the disputed states sent both Republican and Democrat electors so there is a slim hope.

The Supreme Court completely failed the American People and the Constitution when they failed to even hear the case brought by the State of Texas, and many similar cases. The Judicial branch on the federal and state level has done nothing to stop this outrageous theft. It has been widely reported that the Supreme Court failed to take up the Texas case because Justice Roberts feared Left wing rioting and bullied the Trump appointed justices into going along with him.   If that is true they failed the Constitution and the American people because of their cowardice.

If Joe Biden is illegitimately awarded the presidency that will sound the death Nell of our Constitutional Republic, especially if the  Democrats win the two Georgia Senate races.  The Democrats have demonstrated a remarkable loathing for the American Constitution, most notably the First and Second Amendment, and all restraints on federal government power.  The Democrats have informed us that they will stack the Supreme Court with liberal justices and do away with the Filibuster.

The Democrats will be so emboldened if they succeed in stealing the election that they will attempt the same outrageous behavior in  every succeeding election so that Republicans will hardly win any future elections.  The Democrats will make sure that all of the dirty tricks they used this time will become institutionalized in federal election law.

The American people are the only line of defense truly left to prevent the theft of the election. There is a massive rally scheduled in Washington DC on January 6th.  This rally better be the largest and most passionate rally that ever took place.  It better be so massive that it puts the fear of God into the members of congress and stops all business in Washington DC for many days.  Similar rallies across this country will be needed.

I fear that this theft of the election, if it comes to pass, will result in violence.  Theft of an election is in fact a coup.  Will every single one of the tens of millions of passionate Trump supporters simply step aside and let this theft happen?  So far Trump supporters have proved to be far less violent than those on the left.  Will that continue if Biden is inaugurated?  No one truly knows the answers to these questions.  I’ve heard a lot of rumblings on social media, and also a lot of open talk.

If the worst comes to pass in the form of an open civil war it will be the fault of the Democrats who succeeded in stealing the election, the Supreme Court who failed to do their duty, and spineless Republicans who failed to do what is right.

John Adams: It would be a pity for a man who’s handed down hundreds of wise decisions from the bench to be remembered only for the one unwise decision he made in Congress.

Assuming the report of Senator Hawley’s determination to challenge the electors on the 6th is correct I’d like to remind GOP members of congress who are going to face intense pressure to go along with the steal of the election of four things they should keep in mind.

  1. Media Love is fleeting media hate is lasting: Never forget that to the MSM you are the enemy. You have always been the enemy and will always be the enemy. While you might get nice press for one or two days at the start of your term for voting with the Democrats on this I guarantee that within a very short time the moment you vote against one of their priorities or suggest that if a person has a penis they’re not a woman or that ripping babies from the womb & murdering them is a bad idea you will once again be considered one level short of Hitler.
  2. Who wants to be primaried? Given that 70% plus of the GOP believe this election has been stolen and evidence that this is the case continues to come out each day you’re not going to endear yourself to the GOP electorate by voting with the left here. The moment you reject a challenge to the vote in PA or GA etc you will find that not only will you have a primary opponent but said opponent will almost certainly have a built in vote block and a giant national donor base who will be delighted to vent their anger against you. Oh and if you’re in the senate and not up till 2024 or 2026 don’t think that you’ll escape this fate, why? Well because Jacksonians have long memories.
  3. Trump the Jacksonian: If you think the pushback from the voters back home and the money pouring into a primary is bad news for you, just wait until what happens when you give a lot of free time to a man with a long memory for slights. At best he will hold huge rallies for your primary opponent denouncing you as a coward who supported stealing an election from the American people. At worst he will use his connections and cash to dig deep into your background. Of course if you’re Mr. Clean you have nothing to worry about but I suspect any person willing to vote to uphold the theft of an election is unlikely to be all that clean.
  4. You’ll take the blame: There is a memorable ahistorical scene in the play 1776 where, thanks to a poll of the Pennsylvania delegation, James Wilson is put on the spot and votes for independence because he doesn’t want to be remembered as the man who stopped American independence. Right now GOP voters rightly blame the Democrats for the steal and are outraged at the cowardice state legislatures and the courts in punting on this issue, but once the votes comes up in the House and Senate the responsibility for stopping the steal or not will be on YOU and if your vote allows the steal to take place it will stick to you like a scarlet letter branding you as the one responsible for the theft of an election by the angriest (and most heavily armed) electorate since 1860 and now that social media is even more segregated by ideology said anger will be amplified for years. In an age of protests in front of people’s homes I’m sure that will be a comforting thought.

As a rule the right thing is usually the smart thing and if you are smart you will keep all of these things in mind when it comes time to vote to allow this steal to take place or not.

Grant is not going to retreat

One of the reasons for studying history is the perspective it gives, the experience of others, which is one of the reasons why the left has done it’s best to substitute propaganda for history to keep people from that prospective.

A lot of people are wondering what to do next, I have a longer post on the subject already written but I want to remind you of a the perspective of a man in a bigger immediate crisis.

On May 5th 1864 US Grant and Robert E. Lee fought their 1st major engagement against each other in the Battle of the Wilderness which took place on the old Charlottesville battlefield, the site of Lee’s greatest victory.

On the second day of the battle as report after report of disasters came in Grant had finally had enough saying:

Oh I am heartily tired of hearing about what Lee is going to do. Some of you always seem to think he is suddenly going to turn a double somersault and land in our rear and on both of our flanks at the same time. Go back to your command and try to think of what we are going to do ourselves, instead of what Lee is going to do.

Grant understood that he had superior numbers and that what was needed most of all was determination. He had over 17,000 casualties vs the rebels 11,000 and more than 50% more men killed outright, but when the day was done instead of retreating as every other commander who had preceded him had done in the face of a drubbing he continued south where he would face Lee in in battle after battle. More than half of his army would fall during these battles.

Over and over people had derided Grant for the losses in his fights and called for his removal but Lincoln knew the math and kept stuck with Grant till eventually the cork was in the bottle and Lee was under siege.

There are many naysayers who say give up and surrender, this is the worst possible advice there is. The pressure needs to be kept up because this remains the time when they are weakest they will be.

Don’t give the left a moment to catch their breath.
