Little Miss Attila points out one thing that the dems in Wisconsin have forgotten:
Just remember: every day that you aren’t there, the Repubs are taking votes.
Hold on there, I thought there wasn’t a quorum? Not so fast:
Bringing up hot-button legislation while the Democrats are gone is another arrow in Walker’s quiver. Though the Wisconsin constitution requires three-fifths of the senate to be present to pass fiscal legislation, a simple majority of 17 members constitutes a quorum for other bills in the 33-seat state senate. So the 19 GOP senators who remain in Madison can pass any number of bills while their Democratic colleagues are on the lam, and Republicans are a majority in the assembly, too. “They can hold off, but there is a whole legislative agenda that Republicans in the senate and assembly can start acting on that only requires simple majorities,” Walker warns.“If they want to do their jobs, and have a say, they better show up.”
Just think of all the GOP friendly legislation that can be passed while they are gone!
Hey maybe it is a good time to make a new redistricting plan for the state? Just think of all the culture war victories we can have in Wisconsin with nary a vote against.
Is Wisconsin a right to work state? If it isn’t it can be really fast.
Want to require ultrasounds before Abortion? Let’s go for it.
Open up heathcare over state lines and maybe tort reform? Now’s the time to do it.
English as the official language of the state? Go for it.
Tougher sanctions on illegal immigration? Come on down!
Gun laws? Lets get concealed carry passed!
It will be like 1862-1865 in Congress, democrats were gone and republicans can go wild.
When will we have a chance like this again? Let’s go for it!

Let me explain something: If you want to be a member of Congress and screw around, join the Democratic Party. You can screw around all you want and no problem, if you’re a Democrat. But you can’t do that and be a Republican member of Congress.
As we have learned the media will forgive anything and everything if you are a democrat. If you are a republican, not only will the media not forgive you but as a rule the republican voter expects better or as Allahpundit puts it.
It’s a classic “boy meets girl” story. Girl places ad in Craigslist’s “Women for Men” forum; boy responds and kicks off a long, flirty e-mail exchange; boy ends up sending girl cheesy cell-phone photos of him with his shirt off; girl forwards photos and e-mails to Internet gossip site known for lurid stories about politicians and their hook-ups.
Oh, almost forgot: Boy neglected to tell girl that he’s married, with children, and happens to be a Republican congressman from New York. Or rather, ex-congressman:

Tonight DaTechGuy on DaRadio goes to two hours for the first time!
Unfortunately our primary guest Lorie Byrd has taken ill and will not be able to appear tonight but Dan Collins of POWIP author of Was it something I said? has graciously agreed to fill in for her and the lovely and talented Roxeanne DeLuca will be joining us as well.
We will also be having our first ever panel at 10 p.m. during our 2nd hour. It will feature, Dan, Roxeanne, Libertarian Leanings and Justin Brooks of the Twin city Tea Party.
We also have a special guest in our 1st hour from the great state of North Carolina.
We will be talking about Reagan’s 100th birthday, the Grass Roots Conference, the situation in Egypt and the abortive attempt to repeal Obamacare
As always you can listen live at the WCRN web site and don’t forget that tonight Tom Wesley’s & John Weston’s show premiere at 6 p.m. followed by conservatively speaking at 7.
Even bigger Starting next Saturday Feb 12th week the show will be at its new morning spot. 10 a.m. EST till noon. For the month of February it will also be replayed at 9 p.m. that evening. I will be the final show in a series of Saturday Morning conservative talk starting at 6 a.m.
So keep it right at WCRN all night and all morning next week for the best locally produced conservative talk out there.
