Comes from this tweet and post from Ruby Slippers Blog:

As you will see in the video, the young woman appears to have spent much if not all of her life in America. She has little if any discernible accent when she speaks. She has been taught to feel this anger and hatred. It seems highly unlikely to me she would be interested in truly hearing Mr. Horowitz’s opinions. Rather she uses the opportunity to reinforce her own beliefs. Credit her with honesty for her willingness to state on the record she would support such a “goal.” If she were a wiser person she might find a future filled with violence against the Jews solves nothing. It will, however, assure more war and despair for future generations in the Middle East. How very sad.

Here is the video, it should be watched by every college administrator.

No ambiguity, no waffling. Ruby Slippers bolds the quote and I’ll repeat it here:

Horowitz …‘Okay, I’ll put it to you this way. I am a Jew. The head of Hizbollah has said that he hopes that we will gather in Israel so he doesn’t have to hunt us down globally. For or Against it?

MSA member: For it.

Zombie’s report on the assault of Lars Vilks attack not withstanding this is more significant. This takes place on an American campus and is said by an American student. This is the reality that people like Pam Geller and Horowitz have warned us about for years.

We have to take this girl and people like her at their word. It needs to be understood that she and people like her are going to be the pool that our enemies use for a successful domestic attack. If we don’t act accordingly then the more fool us.

After 30 minutes of telling us what a good job Law Enforcement did to protect us, Morning Joe brings on Raza Aslan author of Beyond Fundamentalism to call this a “criminal” act and not part of any kind of war and David Sanger downplaying any foreign connection.

Apparently that is the new narrative. Lone wolf, no connection, amateur act, nothing to see here.

It is much easier than to admit something might be up with Islam.

If the left wonders why they they aren’t taken seriously it’s stuff like this.

I’m afraid it is going to be impossible to blame this on the Flemish Menace:

A U.S. citizen from Pakistan accused of driving a bomb-laden SUV into Times Square and parking it on a street lined with restaurants and Broadway theaters was to appear in court Tuesday to face charges for his failed attempt to set off a massive fireball and kill Americans, federal authorities said.

The suspect, Faisal Shahzad, was taken into custody late Monday by FBI agents and New York Police Department detectives while trying to leave the country, according to U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder and other officials. He was identified by customs agents at John F. Kennedy International Airport and was stopped before boarding a flight to Dubai, Holder said early Tuesday in Washington, D.C.

Shahzad is a naturalized U.S. citizen and had recently returned from a five-month trip to Pakistan, where he had a wife, according to law enforcement officials who spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the investigation into the failed car bombing.

Sue Madrak and Mayor Bloomberg not withstanding I don’t think his main concern was the healthcare bill nor a member of any tea party.

As for the people who delivered the South Park “commentary” he has more “commentary” on the subject:

Younus Abdullah Muhammad, author of RevolutionMuslim.com, told WND senior reporter Aaron Klein on New York’s WABC Radio that America should “absolutely” expect more jihadi violence in New York City.

When asked if the Times Square attack was aimed at the offices of nearby Viacom, which owns the “South Park” series, Abdullah Muhammad deflected the question to condemn U.S. foreign policy instead.

“It was a retaliation for what your government is doing overseas,” Abdullah Muhammad said. “If you want to continue killing civilians, then you’re going to get many incidents that resemble what happened yesterday.”

I wonder what our friend Sue has to say about that?

Nope nothing to see here. Nothing to do with radical Islam. Gotta be racist to suggest it.

…when I hit him on the PorkBusters stuff. Then I went to Memeorandum and read his link concerning South Park and learned that islamic threats of violence were analogous to not rebroadcasting Sinead O’Connor dissing the Pope et/al.

They are analogous in the same way that California Bank and Trust closing a branch in California is to closing their WTC 1 branch in Sept of 2001.

Let’s me explain for those who might be regular Balloon Juice readers something called business.

If you have a business selling non unique goods and services to a customer base that is shared by your competitors , rule one is to avoid upsetting said customer base so they don’t choose to go to your competitors.

Or put simply: Piss off your customers and they will go elsewhere if they can.

Television runs on ads. The companies that run ads do so because they want to associate their ads to said show, celebratory etc… If that association costs them customers rather than helping them retain them (read GEICO voice over) then it doesn’t serve their purpose.

Thus a Bill Maher fails on ABC where his opinions and wit might hurt the bottom line but makes it on HBO where the customer base is different. That’s how the free market works…

…on the other hand we have. “Take off this show or I cut your throat.”

If you can’t tell the difference there isn’t a lot of hope for you.
