Israel attacked from the north

How many times do we have to read this story before the world get it though their heads what is going on in Israel?

Good thing we have that brave UN to prevent the Lebanese army from attacking Jews in Israel. Israellycool makes a good point:

What is not clear is whether the Lebanese soldier picture actually fired the RPG, but it is nonetheless problematic that UNIFIL would just happen to be “hanging out” with the Lebanese soldiers during the clashes with Israel.

Or even worse: shielding them.

No comment yet from Helen Thomas or Octavia Nasr.

This was done in broad daylight with plenty of witnesses that means it was done for a reason. Was it to prove Israeli response, to keep Jewish eyes elsewhere?

Time will tell.

Memeorandum thread here

I predict that this story via Glenn at Yid with Lid will not get airtime tomorrow morning on Morning Joe

Was the Joke Anti-Semitic? Well, the White House must have thought so. The White House transcript sent to reporters after the event conveniently began a couple of minutes into the speech. The video of the event posted on the Washington Institute Web site started right after the Joke, you can even hear the end of the laughter.

Its interesting that the same President that see racism in the legitimate actions of the Cambridge Police and the State of Arizona, hides the anti-Semitic prose of its National Security Adviser.

Now you would think that the national security adviser making a racially charged joke might draw some attention, but apparently this took place on Friday and nothing has happened. Will the show pick it up?

Exit question, what will happen first? This story being reported or a guest remarking on the lack of racial sensitivity among tea party attendees? Anyone want to make the odds?

“Disputed East Jerusalem” Mika?

Oh and one more thing Mika, there is no dispute about East Jerusalem, Israel took it in the 1967 war. It is theirs! There is no dispute about the west bank. Israel took it in the 1967 war. It is theirs. There only reason why Gaza and Sinai are not part of Israel today, because they exchanged Sinai for peace with Egypt and gave Gaza to the “Palestinians” who have transformed it to what it is today.

You might as well refer to “Disputed Texas” or “Disputed Arizona” or “Disputed New Mexico” or “Disputed South Vietnam”. Or the whole “disputed confederacy”.

You might say: ” Peter you aren’t showing the Palestinians much respect.” My answer: Respect has to be earned.
