Answer: All three of us think Zack Greinke should win the Cy Young in the AL if there is any justice in the Baseball world.
His ERA is 2.08 for a last place team. He has won 16 games for a team with 63 wins. That’s greater than 25% of the teams wins, or lets put it another way. His winning percentage is .652. He improves the winning percentage of his team by .235.
If that doesn’t remind you of Steve Carlton circa 1972. (27 wins for a team that won 59. ERA below 2). If this was an era of 4 man rotations he would have 7 more start and likely 20 wins.
The greatest stat?
Greinke has allowed just one earned run over his past 35 innings pitched (0.26 ERA), and he’s posted a 1.23 ERA in 13 starts against teams with winning records.
That has Cy Young all over it.

…as I give you a quick update on our Silly Bikini/speedo experiment for Morning Joe.
After two days the search for Mika picture has not only generated 2 1/2 times the number of hits than Savannah Guthrie, but Tuesday searches for Mikia in a Bikini or in “sexy photos” drove 5 times the amount of traffic here as Hannah Giles searches.
I guess the lady still has it, but there are still 5 days to go.
I was up much too late last night posting over being proudly banned from little green footballs so instead of going upstairs to bed I crashed on the couch since I didn’t want to ruin the wife’s sleep.
So I turn on the TV and what do I see? Richard Hass saying out loud to that the United States isn’t going to be shooting down Israeli Jets. Considering what her father said that had to be one of the most uncomfortable moments for her. She looked like she wanted to be somewhere else very bad.
She certainly isn’t going to disavow her father on national TV and anyone who would ask her to do so would be low. That’s family, you don’t dis the man who raised you. (Then again maybe she agrees with him, who knows?)
