Question: What is the surest proof that the tea party moment has been effective?

The left and media have done their best try to marginalize the tea party movement, from words from a former president to the phony “documentary” from Chris Matthews, but the proof in the pudding is in this story:

In a major shift in congressional politics, Democrats have developed a severe case of sticker shock, just as many of their colleagues press to prime the pump of the economy in time for the mid-term congressional elections.

Remember that democrats have not only a 40+ majority in the house but an 18 vote edge of the senate and yet it is they who are on their heels.

A real turn off? I don't think so

David Frum might contend that the tea party is turning off moderates, but if that was the reality then we would not be seeing what we now see in congress. The reality of the tea party movement trumps it all.

Q: When will all those who screamed bloody murder at the firing of US attorneys under GWB make a fuss about this ruling?

And remember this is not the firing of US Attorneys that the White House has the right to fire at will. This is the firing of an inspector general who looks within.

At the very least Paul McGann will guest star with Matt Smith before that ever happens. With the 50th anniversary only a few years away that is actually not unlikely at all.

Question: Why does Charles Johnson owe Andrew Sullivan a debt of Gratitude today?

I already commented on Johnson’s post which hearkens back to brighter days. Sullivan however is in full moonbat mode:

A simple point. The violence by the activists is pretty abhorrent. These are not followers of Gandhi or MLK Jr. But the violence is not fatal to anyone and it is in response to a dawn commando raid by armed soldiers. Emphasis mine

Andrew Andrew Andrew the only reason why the violence was not fatal is because the Israelis finally opened fire.

It really takes some effort to make Charles Johnson look good these days, but Andrew has it in him!

Q: What is the easiest way to identify a Yankee in Ga?

Ok It wasn’t the brightest thing I ever did.
