A: Because for a $5 contribution to his shoe leather fund I got all these stories. Many of them first hand since he actually drove up to NY-23 and was there live to report on the various endorsements.

I even got link backs, and I got all of these things from the couch of my house rather than having to take an hour drive each way.

Of course with McCain I didn’t get to enjoy beautiful New England fall foliage…

Oh and Apple is a very liberal company, in NY-23 they almost certainly support Dede Scozzafava or the democrat Bill Owens.

Q: Why is the NRCC’s even more foolish than Apple?

A: At least Apple can fall back on a fanatical customer base when they get other people upset.

The NRCC is not that lucky when they put out stuff like this:

“Conservative Party bosses in New York have been sold a bill of goods in the form of Doug Hoffman’s deceptive smoke-and-mirrors campaign, but fortunately they aren’t the ones deciding this election,” said Paul Lindsay, a spokesman for the NRCC, which has produced Web ads attacking Hoffman’s conservative bona fides. “We will continue to remind New Yorkers that a vote for Hoffman or Bill Owens is a vote for Nancy Pelosi and her far-left, radical agenda.

Yeah that Sarah Palin is sure one big Nancy Pelosi fan.

And the NRCC doesn’t have iTunes to fall back on either!

NY-23 The Hoffman dollars keep coming…

Robert Stacy McCain is so all over this story:

First he has the clip of the Armey endorsement speech and gets a photo with the man from Texas who doesn’t care what Charles Johnson (peace be upon him) thinks.

Then after getting Beck’s interview online gets a call that the Palin endorsement have been worth a fortune.

Doug Hoffman raised $116,000 on Thursday.

But he still has time to give credit to Jumping in Pools for first suggesting Palin endorse. However I disagree with this statement:

BTW, don’t be puzzled if the Hoffman campaign doesn’t make a big deal out of Palin’s endorsement. Because she’s been so unfairly demonized by the MSM, Palin’s status with independent voters is kind of problematic right now (let’s hope Oprah can fix that). So don’t expect to see Hoffman TV ads in NY23 shoving the Palin endorsement in voter’s faces.

I disagree, if the media really thought Palin was that unpopular they would be trumpeting her endorsement to hurt Hoffman, in addition she adds up to ratings. You don’t get ratings by featuring unpopular people.

BTW I just saw the Cavuto interview as it went on that he mentioned. What a boring interviewer. How does he ever manage a show?

Hey Apple NRCC do you figure on sinking any more dough on Dede Scozzafava and alienating your customer contributor base any more?

Steve Forbes joins the heard now streaming toward Hoffman:

Former presidential candidate Steve Forbes, chief executive officer of Forbes Inc., will endorse Doug Hoffman, the Conservative Party candidate in New York’s 23rd congressional district. A source close to the campaign tells NRO that “many more conservatives will be announcing their support in coming days.”

And I should note that Michelle Bachman actually expressed support for Hoffman a few hours before Palin, but did so when questioned rather than as a flat endorsement.

Minnesota’s always entertaining Michelle Bachman is already in Hoffman’s camp, telling radio show host Laura Ingraham that “Hoffman is on the ascendancy, and we have to win this seat. And people need to get behind the winning candidate, and it looks like that’s Hoffman.”

If the NRCC is smart they will make a deal with Dede and have her pull out, if they don’t they will be embarrassed no matter what happens, and they can’t afford to go after Palin who they will need in 2012.

Vote Hoffman.
