The suit against Breitbart is going to bring up a ton of really fun stuff about her and her husband and about that lawsuit they settled. Congratulations Mrs. Sherrod every speech you gave, every statement you’ve made and your husband too is now fair game and will be out in the open for all the country to see.

Expressly false statements like this one:

“It wasn’t all media. It was Fox.” Sherrod said in commenting on President Obama’s remarks on The View blaming the media in part for the story

are really going to play well in court. This is going to print money and attention for Breitbart. So lets repeat my thoughts on this case:

Sucker!

Update: Memeorandum thread here Semi Exit question. Will the left try to use this to energize black voters?

Take a look at this post at Dan Riehl’s place.

Read it quite carefully. Here is my prediction:

The media will totally ignore this, and call it out of context and site Breitbart as their justification, however our friends on the left will withhold judgment until a “full video” (which this time not be forthcoming) is released.

We will not see Shirley Sherrod, her husband Charles, or their daughter Russia (yes you read that right) on the air it will not be touched.

Anyone want to make book on my prediction?

Update That didn’t take long, Did it? Memeorandum thread here.

I’d rather see him on Morning Joe myself:

The conservative blogger behind the controversial video that led to Shirley Sherrod’s forced resignation from the U.S. Department of Agriculture said the footage was released in order to highlight racist behavior in the NAACP, not to target the former government official.

“I feel bad that they made this about her,” Andrew Breitbart told NBC News on Wednesday. “You do see that she mentions a transformation and I’m sympathetic that they went after her and not the NAACP.”

I haven’t seen them play this clip today on Morning Joe but I’ve got a lot going on.
