Game night roundup

Played a game called Descent Journey’s in the Dark last night. We didn’t finish as we started late (my fault) but it was better than I thought it would be. I would feel pretty good about recommending it to other gamers.

Then again for a price of $90 it oughta be good.

The subject of the Gaza operation came up. All agreed that Hamas are a bunch of bastards. My hesitation on the ground offensive wasn’t shared by anyone but 60% of the table criticized Israel for settlement activity on the west bank for giving Hamas an excuse. Barbara Lerner would take exception to that.

Speaking of gamers one of the guys saw The Gamers 2 recently and kept going on and on about it. It would have to be really funny to be better than the first one.

Now I hope you boys aren’t going to be indecisive!

There has been talk that with the rise of blogs, YouTube, twitter, facebook etc, that Matt Drudge doesn’t matter.

Yesterday Drudge reported that Ann Coulter was banned from NBC. Within a few hours NBC has denied it and today Drudge reports that NBC is re-thinking things.

Did I just hear Chris Matthews cite Wisconsin as the 2nd cleanest state when it comes to elections on Morning Joe?

Apparently he never read this, this, this, this, this, this, this or this.

I can’t find the clip but Morning Joe is reporting that Roland Burris is apparently saying he has Jesus on his side to be the junior senator from Illinois.

If this is true apparently he is an idiot.
If this is not true I will edit the post accordingly

This however doesn’t change the fact that he is legally appointed to the seat and should be seated.

P.S. Admit it you thought this was an Al Franken Post when you read the title didn’t you?

Update: Apparently the quote was slightly different:

Burris, in turn, has gone to court hoping to win an order for White to sign the necessary paperwork, and has also threatened to sue to take his seat in the Senate.

“We are hoping and praying that they will not be able to deny what the Lord has ordained,” Burris said Sunday night.

What an idiot!
