Today is the feast day of St. Myron of Crete known for his hard work which brought him prosperity in youth, generous nature to the poor and after the death of his wife priest at 30 then Bishop of Crete for many decades till his death.
In honor of the feast, let me present to you the St. Myron Bishop of Crete song, sung to the tune of: Taking Care of Business by Backman-Turner Overdrive
He got up every morning from the day's first dawning
Said his prayers and then began his day.
He'd be planting and then seeding and he'd do the weeding,
