Listening to Rush while I work on a customer’s system I’m getting worried as people are asking the government for Stoves, cars, unemployment to cover 100% of pay and extra work benefits.
I’m also worried by college students who can’t talk but I digress…
You know it is very easy to sit back and collect unemployment, particularly if you are able to cover the bills with it. If you make it easy and comfortable then people aren’t going to be inclined to go out and find work.
Once people decide that the government is going to give them everything we are finished, and remember a government big enough to give you everything is big enough to take it all away.

He says part of what the election was about was approval of his approach to the economy. Even Obama knows better than that. Most people who voted for this windbag didn’t know any more about the economy than the slivers of information endlessly repeated on the network news. He won because the news anchors had convinced America that Bush was bad for them. Add to that hundreds of millions of dollars probably raised illegally. Few that voted for him were capable of looking clearly at their economic situation and realizing how good it was until the inevitability of Obama caused the business community to shut down. This man thrives on the ignorance of others. For him to refuse to say concretely what his plans are and at the same time to say his present program is what people want is just a double helping of lies.
All of this is true but one thing he said is correct.
He did win, the country voted for this. He won 54% of the vote but 100% of the White House. It’s his ball.
All we can do is explain why this is really stupid and try to put the pressure on.
