Powerline reports on this rally by Hamas and Fatah members in Minnesota:

They have this to say:

How did Minnesota get to the point where its state capitol can become an outpost of a terrorist organization from the Middle East? Until a few years ago, I wouldn’t have believed it possible.

Powerline is a really good blog but anyone surprised by this just hasn’t been paying attention for the last several years. Or hasn’t been reading Israellycool, or Meryl Yourish, or lgf, or atlas shrugs or Jihad watch or Front Page Mag etc etc etc…

Oh and that chant that Hamas is an elected government…so was the Southern Confederacy. And apparently in the same state of denial.

You know when you’re a geek when…

…you are watching the Big Bang theory and recognize that they are playing Talisman (a great game) and notice that they are supposed to be rolling one die instead of two dice when moving. Unless he is on the temple of course.

I told you it was a sucker bet:

“If the pope wants to do some good for the Church, he should leave his job,” eminent liberal Catholic theologian Hermann Haering told the German daily Tageszeitung.

There are plenty of people who don’t know what Excommunication means I’ve discussed this whole thing here, but this guy is a theologian. He has no excuse.

This pope isn’t going anywhere while the heart is still beating. Our liberal theologians however are under no compulsion to stay. They will raise money and become popular with the world in general and the press in particular. It should be a clue to a theologian that something is wrong when their popularity is strongest with the wrong target audience.

Checked out the US mint site today. Noticed something interesting about the gold coins.

The 2008 coins along with the 1st Lady gold coins but the 2009 coins are being offered on a sliding scale based on the price of gold.

That’s going to make buying collectible gold interesting this year.

Those 2009 1st year Quarter Sovereigns from the Royal Mint are looking better even with an price £8 higher than that last post. At today’s exchange rate that’s still below $75 each. I should have gotten more than 3 when I ordered job or no.
