January Indulgence Calendar & the last six days of double Plenary Indulgences

Well in addition to a new year it’s a new month so of course we have a new Indulgence Calendar

And I want to remind everyone that the Jubilee year ends at midnight on January 6th so you have six days left to be able to get through the holy doors AND to take advantage of the late Pope Francis’ decree allowing you to earn 2 Plenary indulgences a day during the Jubilee year.

Remember the 2nd plenary indulgence for the day MUST:

  • Be offered for someone deceased NOT for yourself
  • Requires a 2nd reception of Holy Communion that day which MUST take place at a mass

It will likely be the last time you get a chance for a 2nd plenary indulgence in your lifetime so take advantage of it if you can.
