Newkirk grinned through his grey temples: “I tell ya mates there are days I look back & I can’t believe the things we did.”
Carter laughed: “Hey we still can’t believe that you brought in that Gestapo lady in through the tunnel.”
Kinch smiled: “Yeah we all dug for a month reconnecting everything”
Newkirk’s winced & all present laughed till they saw a pair of smartly dressed men coming into the room. Even 30 years removed from Stalag 13 they knew agents when they saw them.
“Col Hogan, we’d like a word with you and your men.”
