This will be my penultimate chance to do a rule 5 favor for Hallie Miller:

Hallie Miller twelve voting days to go

As I wrote here I got involved in this voting because she asked and was even more impressed because of demonstration of class in a tight situation.

And she has been a kind supporter of the show and this blog as is shown by her top ten reasons to vote for her post:

2. YOU ABSOLUTELY love datechguy.wordpress. com and theothermccain.com!!!

Let me tell you something about Both people of Sicilian descent and Scots Irish decent we are loyal to our friends. And if you are promoting our blogs we don’t forget it.

So get over to her site and vote for her every day for the rest of the year. Let’s not settle for 10th, lets go for top 5, I know it’s currently 655 votes away but aim small, miss small.

Question: Why do I keep pushing Hallie Miller for the Savvy Magazine contest?

How do I come to this conclusion? Consider, this is a chance in a lifetime for this young lady. She is currently right on the edge of making her goal that she has dreamt about. So naturally one would think that she would do all she can to not only promote herself but to discourage voting for those behind her.

You would think wrong:

And by the way, there are over 1000 of us trying to get to those top ten positions. I would urge you, if you don’t think I am top ten material, to scroll through the small icons to the right of mine and pick one of those ladies! One little click of your finger can help make somebodies dream a reality!

Ask yourself, would you be willing to put up that sentence if you were in her place?

I wish her father was here in Massachusetts, I’d like to shake his hand and buy him a beer. This is exactly the type of young lady I’d like my sons to end up with. Lots of women have beauty, how many today have honor?

Go vote for her every day once a day here.

The 6th of our Advertisers of Christmas series.

Putnam Street lanes is on Putnam street Fitchburg and has been there for 120 years. For those of you who don’t know how Candle Pin bowling works here is a quick peek:

Then again sometimes the wood gives it back:

That doesn’t happen to me too often but it’s stuff like this that makes candlepin bowling such a challenge and why there has never been a perfect game in candlepin and the smaller balls are easier for kids and the elderly to keep rolling.

DaTechGuy shows you what $8.99 will get you for lunch at the Border Grille and Bar, Mill St. Leominster

The question isn’t why I’m eating at the Border Grille and Bar on Mill Street near the Whitney Field Mall for lunch, the question is why aren’t you?
