I’ve actually seen some “topical” spam (on Afghanistan), where an argument is made on an issue in the hopes that people will see the argument and assume the spam was an actual answer to a post.
They try, how they try.

I’ve often said that people have the rest of their lives to ridicule, abandon or live without the grace of God for their satisfaction and the approval of the world, after that they’re on their own. For Mr. Hitchens that reality is closing in, but in fact it closes in on all of us every day. The difference is that Chris Hitchens is aware of it. May the rest of us not forget.

You IDIOT! You’ve fathered a child with this girl, you’ve known her for years, she is willing to take you back and you can have a proper relationship with your child. Even her parents who don’t trust you are willing to give let it slide, and what do you do? YOU BLOW IT AGAIN!
I understand you are young and young adults made stupid mistakes but here you had a chance to make things right and you wasted it. Don’t you realize the person who is going to be hurt the most by it is your child Tripp?
This didn’t have to happen, you could have made this work. It wouldn’t have been easy but it would have been worthwhile. Second chances come so rarely in life, there is nothing so frustrating than to see someone waste theirs.
Too bad I’m not his dad, maybe with the right advice he might not have blown it twice, but who knows, maybe his family did give the right advice and he just wouldn’t take it. There is only so much a parent can do.
Well, they’re both young and have their lives ahead of them, may they both do something good with them.

(Atlanta) – The Annual Disabled American Veterans National Convention is being held in Atlanta July 31 – Aug 3. The organization, now in its 90th year of service representing America’s disabled veterans, will host President Obama on Monday, August 2nd.“I applaud President Obama for coming to speak to this organization that does so much good on behalf of our disabled vets and their families,” stated Carter, the Republican nominee for Georgia’s 4th district House of Representatives. “Our wounded warriors are very deserving of our appreciation and gratitude.”
Carter, whose father was a WWII veteran, sits on the advisory board of Operation Homefront and is a member of the Women’s VFW Auxiliary. “Our veterans have made enormous sacrifices and our troops continue to do so around the world. I’m pleased that the President is attending the convention to honor their service.”
Carter also expressed her hope that, “…this visit will help remind those in Congress of the importance of addressing the needs of our veterans and treating our military with the utmost respect.”
While in Georgia, President Obama will also be fundraising for the Democrat National Committee. When asked about the president’s fundraising appearance Carter commented, “I’m sure President Obama is very aware of how vulnerable certain Georgia seats are in this November’s election.”

How bad are things for this President? He has to rely on republican candidates for congress to give him credit when credit is due.
