…but my departure from the democratic party was just a few months ahead of his.

I supported Paul Tsongas, one of the most honest men in politics. He was substance Clinton was fun at parties but was as phony as a $3 bill.

The embrace of Bill Clinton was one of the worst decisions the party ever made. In 1998 the democrats had the same choice that the Republicans had in 1974. Unlike the republicans who splintered on this, the Democrats held solid in their choice. It was very sad.

I saw what Clinton and Clintonism was before he did but either way it happened we have made it here.

Nixon/China, Obama/DC Vouchers

The saying is “Only Nixon could go to China”.

Apparently only Obama can kill the DC Vouchers program.

You see if a white president was in charge then democrats might be subject to charges of racism, of oppressing black children to appease the teachers union.

But since our president has the proper skin tone he can allow his fellow Democrats to do this and it has nothing to do with race.

Much like inner city violence, gang violence, drugs, the slaughter and destruction of Black communities, it is ignored because it is being done by people of the same skin color and being run like political fiefdoms. As long as those fiefdoms provide the votes by (maybe buy) hook or crook all is well. And any attempt to make change, then those who are supported financially by said fiefdom scream bloody murder and racism.

And how will our media treat this? The exact opposite of how they treated Macaca.

In my opinion well meaning liberal programs have dome more to effectively re-segregate and re-create the old plantation system or maybe more the old sharecropper system than anything even the most ardent supporter of Jim Crow could have dreamed of. Take a look at colleges and high schools and see how segregated they are.

Moe Green says this:

You know, there’s a part of me that would almost prefer that this was evidence of some sort of long term payback – one that would have been in the works for about 150 years at this point – against African-Americans by the Democratic party. At least that would be a reason to wreck school choice. It would be a conscious decision. Instead, though, I’m faced with the tawdry reality that the Democratic Party simply just doesn’t care.

Maybe there is.

I guess he is having that same regeneration vision that I was having…

…in the sense that there is apparently no there there:

“The explanations offered by prosecutors and investigators in an attempt to justify their actions and persuade the court that they did not use the defendants’ compelled testimony were all too often contradictory, unbelievable and lacking in credibility,” Urbina wrote.

The confederate yankee has this to say:

I don’t think that this dismissal means that these contractors were necessarily innocent, but the political focus of the investigation means we long ago lost any chance there was of ever determining if there was any justification for the guards to open and then maintain their fire.

He suggests there might have been some there there at one time. Glenn has the best explanation as to why this is happening now:

WELL, THE ELECTION’S OVER NOW

That’s pretty much it, end it after the election was done but before the next one can start.
