Doctor Who, The Macra Terror 1967

As of this writing (7:45 AM) the Joe Rogan Experience podcast with Donald Trump which dropped late last night has 8.7 million views.

This is extraordinary when you consider the following:

  1. The podcast runs almost 3 hours (2:58:50)
  2. Trump has been around for a very long time
  3. It’s been less than a half a day and overnight for a lot of those in the east

What are people who are watching the podcast seeing? A conversation lasting three hours. A rational conversation on all kinds of topics, from the great flip flops of the celebs who embraced Trump for decades up until the point where he was considerer a threat to the power of the left to boxing and MMF. The type of conversation that regular people might have. The type of conversation that gives you a pretty good picture of who a person actually is.

In other words the type of conversation that the media:

  1. Doesn’t dare have about Donald Trump because it would destroy their false negative narrative
  2. Doesn’t dare have with Kamala Harris because it would destroy their false positive narrative

Ironically after three hours with Rogan Trump went off to a rally that night, so much for the “tired” and “ducking” business.

Here is the whole thing:

There was some talk on COVID and the vaccines which is actually a weakness for Trump (but not in contrast to Harris/Biden) and the conversation on some Trump supporters being nervous about RFK’s role in the administration was interesting and groundbreaking. There was some real news broken there which is why it’s worth your time.

There was an early report that youtube was censoring the link but Rogan himself noted that there had been a tech issue that was resolved by delisting and then relisting the podcast. Frankly as a person who is still banned by Youtube it’s nice to see them not censoring this.

Rogan expressed an interest in having Harris on but apparently the sticking point was Harris teams’ insistence on making some topics off limits while Trump agreed to no limits on topics.

Of course if the crash and burn continues the campaign may change it’s mind figuring like a Hockey team pulling their goalie when down 5 with 2 minutes to go. What have you got to lose?

But Trump wasn’t the only one who was on a major podcast. JD Vance appeared on the Theo Von podcast for two hours

What is really interesting has been the feedback from so many of the over 2 million who watched the podcast who have been told by the media that Vance was “odd” or “weird” or “strange” and after seeing him for two hours found him the most normal guy in the room.

Read the comments to the podcast it’s shattering to the narrative that people have put out there on Vance and an excellent reminder that the BS the media sold during the time they hid Joe Biden cognitive decline is not the only lie that they have been pushing.

This is the type of thing people watch on their own, the media can’t hide or counter it and it’s the type of things that changes votes.

These two podcasts are the ultimate expression of bypassing the narrative and going directly to the people letting voters who wish to see people as they actually are. This is the ultimate expression of the 1st amendment.

The media will try to avoid these podcasts. I can hear them now:

This is an emergency. Media must be believed and obeyed! No one on the country believes in Trump/Vance Podcasts! There is no such thing as Trump/Vance Podcasts! Trump/Vance Podcast do not exist! THERE ARE NO PODCASTS!

If you want to know why the left demands censorship these two podcasts are it.

Checkmate.

I have been arguing for an awful lot of years that the National Popular Vote Compact is an attempt to disenfranchises votes of individual states so that elections can be fixed on a national level.

The left has pooh poohed this and deep blue states like California, Oregon, Washington, Minnesota, New York, Illinois, Vermont, Connecticut and yes disgracefully my state of Massachusetts went along and signed this idiocy sure and secure in the knowledge that no Republican would every be popular enough and no Democrat so unpalatable enough that it would bite them in the ass.

And then came this from CNN

Now the catch is that supposedly this agreement kicks into gear when 270 EV’s worth of states sign it, but as the electoral college doesn’t vote on election day (They vote on December 17th) Red states could have legislatures ready to adopt this rule after election day so it will be in effect the day the electors vote. In fact it would be state law. And the best part is once those votes are cast those same red states can repeal said laws boom.

If this actually happens it won’t matter how long it takes Mariposa country in Arizona to count their votes, suddenly by their own rules California, New Mexico, Colorado, Washington, Oregon, Illinois, Minnesota, New York, Connecticut, Vermont and yes my own Massachusetts will go into the Trump column.

Now I still maintain that this disenfranchises individual states but I have a feeling if the Kamala collapse continues I will suddenly find a lot of leftists from an awful lot of blue states and a ton of media will suddenly have my back and rush to the Supreme Court to have all of these laws stuck down. The irony of course is that I expect all three liberal judges will be with me on this one at the very least.

Now with Kamala collapsing so badly that the Washington Post and LA Times won’t endorse her it might be moot so I don’t know if this will be the result but if it is, it will be glorious!

If we had known he wanted a new car that badly, we all would have chipped in and bought him one.

I have argued more than once that if the left had not stolen the 2020 election they would have been done with Donald Trump by now and the deep state’s business as usual would have been able to continue without a problem. Now John Conlin at the American Thinker is pointing out all the ways that the steal of the election in 2020 was a blessing in disguise for the country and a disaster to those trying to destroy it.

The blatant politicization of the DoJ, FBI, CIA, IRS, military, judiciary, etc. — really almost every aspect of the federal government — has been laid bare for all to see. For many of these folks, the concept of equal justice under the law is something they discarded long ago. Many states are as bad or worse.

For years, DEI has been destroying institutions and companies across the board. That is ending now.

Institutions of supposed “higher” education have revealed themselves to be little more than dumbing-down indoctrination centers. Much of public K-12 education has been shown to be the same. The school choice movement is now unstoppable.

All of these things had been proceeding quietly since the Obama years and even before, but now the lid has been blown off them all and the American people are seeing things as they are. Conlin again

These institutions were this way before, but this period has removed all doubt. And before one can begin to address an illness, one must first accept the reality of the disease. We have done that.

The path forward won’t be a straight one. It will probably involve a lot of “2 steps forward, 1 step back,” but we have bottomed out. The future might look far different than today, but history will show this was the high water mark for socialism, communism, big government, gender insanity, and a whole lot more.

And we owe this awakening to the “loss” of a stolen election, which is turning out to be a wonderous win.

I’m surprised that he didn’t mention what was to me one of the biggest changes. The MSM insisting and demanding that people believe that Joe Biden was completely fine. Was it not just four months ago that they were telling Americans that if you believed he wasn’t sharp as a knife that you were spreading disinformation? They’re very public exposure as a pack of liars before even the most credulous fool is the straw that broke the back of their power.

I suspect if the left knew what it knew now it might have done things different but hey they did get 4 years of good stealing.

It may be that even seeing and knowing all this the American people may still willingly walk into the hell of a Kamala presidency, but if they do it will be with eyes wide open rather than having tyranny quietly imposed on them.

All of these were only made possible by the steal. It has turned out to be a blessing in disguise, although I admit, it was a pretty good disguise.

Do remember you are there to fuddle him. From the way some of you young fiends talk, anyone would suppose it was our job to teach!

C. S. Lewis The Screwtape Letters Letter #1

In the days when I was doing Computer Technical Support (which is why this blog is DaTechGuy blog and why I’m DaTechGuy online) one of the things I ran into a lot were people who focused on a particular problem while losing sight of what their actual goal was. You could fix a bug but if you aren’t addressing what the actual goal was you weren’t doing the customer much good. I always established what they were trying to do and if there was a better way of doing it suggest it as I fixed the bug so that the underlying problem, the goal, could be achieved.

Even at my current location which is as far as you can get from tech support when I was occasionally given a new person to train on a simple process like picking items ordered, I never started there. I took them to every part of the warehouse from the receiving docks where the product came in, to the receivers to processed and recorded it, to the group putting to the stations where they were being shipped to the lines where the shipped items were put in their respective bins and back to the docks. The idea was to make people understand that while the task seemed mundane it was a vital cog that worked with all the others to the ultimate goal of getting a product ordered by a customer to their door.

One of the best attributes of Donald Trump is one he shares with both Ron DeSantis who I supported in the primaries, is that the sees things in this way and the entire Springfield business is an excellent example of how this works.

The media/left reacted with glee at Trump bringing up the of pets in Springfield and spent days bashing him over it.

This put the entire countries’ focus on Springfield and while the left was decrying memes showing Trump protecting cats and dogs and stuff like this hilarious image:

The reality was that it became excellent fodder for doing two things, first showing the left for what is it to wit:

And this is classic:

All that is fun but is misses the bottom line which is that now everybody is talking about how the Biden Administration dumped tens of thousand of foreign nationals on a small town doubling it’s population with no support for the town in coping with it.

That’s a subject the left doesn’t want to discuss but it’s the cat and dog business that gave the opening to J.D. Vance when the media tried to play “Gotcha” with him on it:

Or as Ace of Spade put it after posting a NY Times story which included (emphasis Ace):

Mr. Trump’s debate remarks have themselves become a meme on the left since Tuesday, as musical remixes of his comments have ping-ponged around Instagram, TikTok and other social platforms, mocking the pet-eating claims while also prolonging their stay in the news cycle.

The attention has been unwelcome in Springfield, where tensions over immigration have flared since an 11-year-old boy was killed last year when a Haitian immigrant driving without a valid license crashed his minivan into a school bus.

Which caused him to quip

“They’re killing 11-year-old boys, not cats” is not the winning message you think it is, New York Times.

Kurt Schlichter nailed it:

And if Trump ends up going to Springfield and highlights the issue it will be spiking the ball.
