John the Baptist: It has begun!

Nicodemus: What has begun.

John the Baptist: If he’s healing in secret now the public signs can not be far off!

The Chosen Episode 5 2020

Two days ago at Instapundit I saw this via Althouse:

“A new Reuters/Ipsos poll finds that 55% of Republicans falsely believe Joe Biden’s victory in the 2020 presidential election was the result of illegal voting or rigging.”

“Additionally, 60% of Republicans incorrectly agree that the election was stolen from Republican Donald Trump.”

CNN reports, aggressively inserting the view that the people who were polled are wrong. I believe that’s a very unusual way to report an opinion poll, with insistence that the opinion is wrong and apart from any factual reporting that makes it perfectly obvious that the opinion is mistaken.

Glenn says: “THEY’RE VERY NERVOUS ABOUT THEIR ELECTION NARRATIVE, WHICH IS TOTALLY HOW PEOPLE WHO ARE CONFIDENT THEY WON FAIR AND SQUARE WOULD ACT:” but I think it’s a perfectly logical meme given how hard it is to keep a secret that so many people know:

I submit and suggest that given the sheer number of people involved the question it’s not a question of “If” the fact that the election was stolen will eventually leak out along with details and names. It’s a matter of “when” (That’s incidentally why I would not want to be the insurance company that issued policies on the lives of those lower level grunts who did the heavy lifting). Thus it becomes imperative to force as many people into the false narrative as possible so that when the facts do come up more people have a stake in ignoring, dismissing or outright denying them.

Maureen O’Hara knew that the only person who could betray her secret was herself. Kirschner and those who are openly (and quietly) backing him know that they don’t have the advantage O’Hara did. All they can do is continue is to do their best to manipulate the terrain so that when the facts eventually leak out as many people as possible will have pledged to look the other way.

Well while everyone has been working doubletime to prevent or slow audits of ballots in AZ and GA something has been going on in NH:

You might recall a story from February about Windham NH where a Democrat who called for an audit of a local election that they lost by 24 votes had an unexpected side effect:

Hand Recount in Windham (Rock Dist. 7) Reveals “Machine” Shorted Every Republican by About 300 Votes

Ironically this hand count wasn’t called for by the GOP but by a Democrat looking to flip a local election

That is very strange. That is a large number, large enough that a Republican who lost by 100 to 300 votes would not ask for a recount. Of course, no Republican asked for a recount. It was a Democrat looking for lost votes (24 of them) to perhaps flip one seat in that local election.

And look at what they found. Something, unexpected. Something we were not supposed to see?

St Laurent (d) lost 100 votes, and their Republican opponents all gained 300, plus or minus three votes.

What was less unexpected was the reaction of Youtube to this news:

Gateway pundit noted this story and interviewed on camera the Belknap County GOP committee member Dr. David Strang M.D. on the subject:

David told The Gateway Pundit that the Republican candidates in Windham had 6% of their total votes removed by the Dominion-owned voting machines.

According to Dr. Strang, these same Dominion-owned machines are used in 85% of the towns in New Hampshire.

Youtube took down the video locked their account and gave them a “strike” for upload it.

Well while Youtube could keep the interview off their platform they couldn’t keep Granite Grok the leading conservative voice in NH from reporting on it and therefore local republican from hearing about it and in the NH state legislature in the house and senate acted:

In a HUGE WIN for We, the People, and for New Hampshire election integrity, the NH Senate voted 24-0 just minutes ago to concur with the House amended version of SB43.

This Bill was championed by Senator Bob Giuda and will validate election integrity in our state by mandating a forensic audit on Windham’s 11/3/20 general election ballots and voting machines as configured on November 3, 2020.

The forensic audit will determine the huge discrepancy between the election day results and subsequent recount of Windham’s November 3, 2020, State Rep. race where a difference of 1,363 total votes from just 10,006 ballots was uncovered.

There’s an advantage to having a state where the legislators only make $300 and are not dependent on political power for advancement in life. However the governor of the state is named Sununu his father the previous governor was also named Sununu and served with Bush 1. They were pushing Kasich in 2016 are not known as big Trump men so one might wonder if he would sign this bill.

Wonder no longer:

HUGE NEWS! I just received word that Governor Chris Sununu signed Senate Bill SB43 into law.  It mandates a forensic audit of the ballots that were cast, and the voting machines that were used, by Windham, NH during the November 3, 2020 election. The Bill became law because Senator Bob Guida and NH activists demanded answers as to why the results that were produced by Windham’s voting machines on election day for the State Rep race were drastically different from the results of a recount that was performed nine days later.

Now to be fair this only mandates an audit in this county vs statewide nor does it guarantee game over:

Now that SB43 is law, the responsibility shifts from the Legislature and Governor to the NH Secretary of State, the NH Attorney General, and the Windham Board of Selectmen.  They are now tasked with hiring the forensic auditors to ensure that no stone is left unturned.  All of the questions need to be answered, with no assumptions made.

The Windham Board of Selectmen will choose one team, and the Secretary of State and AG will jointly choose a second team. Those two forensic teams will jointly pick a third team, and together… they will need to complete the independent forensic audit process and solve the mysteries.

Who they pick will speak volumes.

I suspect that this story will get very little attention in the national media but it has the potential to be the leak before the deluge. The Baptist again:

Nicodemus: I should never have come here

John the Baptist: All your life you’ve been asleep: “Make straight the way for the King!” He is here to awaken the world, but some will not want to waken. They’re in love with the dark. I wonder which one you will be?

The real test will be if the Governor and the state will allow the audits to be expanded statewide if what we’ve already seen revealed is confirmed.

That’s when we find out if they are in love with the dark or not.

“Reverend” Raphael Warnock, one of the two Democrat Senators elected under the old “let me steal elections” laws in Georgia in January tweeted out an interesting take on Easter Sunday, for a Christian reverend that is, stating that we are able to save ourselves without Christ. It caused enough of a backlash that he deleted said tweet.

Of course the only part of that story that makes me Shocked SHOCKED is that there are still people out there who are still surprised that a Democrat leader doesn’t actually believe just because he’s a “reverend”

.

Speaking of Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger (you know the guy who recorded his call from President Trump during the lawsuits over the GA results and then lied about their content to the media which ran with his false claims) the election was COMPLETELY on the up and up and anyone who thinks otherwise is some kind of conspiracy theorist, is in the news once again. You see there is an audit of ballots that the courts (now that it can’t change who is President anymore) are allowing and old Brad is trying to have it limited:

Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger sent a request to the courts yesterday requesting that ballot images taken from the voting machines in Georgia be the only source of evidence to be used in an upcoming audit in Fulton County Georgia.  Raffensperger doesn’t want the paper ballots reviewed.

Personally I’m shocked SHOCKED that Raffensperger is apparently not delighted at the chance to prove to all the world, especially to those like me who say the election was stolen, that we are all wrong and is instead doing all he can to inhibit this count. Why you’d think he had something to hide.

I am shocked SHOCKED to see that DaTechGuy’s 3rd law of media outrage, which determines if a story is nationally newsworthy is still in full force in regard to the attack at the Capital that resulted in the death of a Capital police officer has completely disappeared from coverage and that officer William ‘Billy’ Evans is apparently not worthy of the honor of lying in state at the capital as there is no political advantage to highlighting his death.

It will be memory holed, just like Ashli Babbitt

Unexpectedly of course.

Speaking of DaTechGuy’s 3rd law of media outrage which states:

The MSM’s elevation and continued classification of any story as Nationally Newsworthy rather than only of local interest is in direct correlation to said story’s current ability to affirm any current Democrat/Liberal/Media meme/talking point, particularly on the subject of race or sexuality.

is certainly in play according to this piece at Althouse”

“No mention of the perps race in the headline. That is weirdly the most obvious clue to their race nowadays. #JouralismDiesInWokeness.”

Says one of the commenters on the Washington Post article “New York authorities file hate-crime charges in attack on Asian American woman.”

There isn’t even an attacker in the headline. The only human beings in the headline are the “authorities” and the “Asian American woman.” The evildoer disappears. There’s no attacker, only an “attack.” But if there are hate crime charges, then the human mind is all important. “Attack” stresses the outward action. “Hate” requires a hater. There is a shadow of a person in the word “hate,” the gesture at a mind.

But this person is depersonalized — depersonalized because he is black. If a white man had stomped on an old Asian-American lady, he’d get full recognition in the headline. Is that racist?

I am of course Shocked SHOCKED by this development, but still insist that it is more that sufficient and proper to prosecute a person for the actual attack rather than prosecuting someone over “hate” which is an emotion.

Remember if you can criminalize one emotion you can criminalize any.

Finally I am shocked SHOCKED to discover that neither reality nor Kurt Schlichter are the least bit concerned about the results of cause and effect of leftist talking points when they are put into action by leftist pols voted in by leftist voters in leftist cities

Apparently he like many of us on the right believe it’s axiomatic that in a republic the voters in a city get the government and thus the laws & the environment they deserve, but as this is Easter week I think the quote I used from St. Leonard of Port Maurice is even more apt: “Thy Damnation Comes from Thee.

Personally I wonder if the voters in these cities keep choosing the people who do this to them or if the people who count the votes in these cities do so.

By John Ruberry

Last Monday the Justice Department asked 56 U.S. attorneys to resign. There were two exceptions, John Durham, the U.S. Attorney for Connecticut, will stay on as the special counsel for the investigation of the Russian collusion hoax, and David Weiss, the prosecutor for Delaware, who is pursuing the probe into Hunter Biden’s taxes, and presumably, more.

Among the others are John R. Lausch Jr., the US Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois, which of course includes that cesspool of corruption, Chicago and suburban Cook County. Appointed in 2017, Lausch has been methodically hacking away at the blighted forest that is Illinois government ever since. Among those indicted under Lausch’s term are a Chicago alderman, two suburban mayors (one of them was also Cook County commissioner), and two members of the Illinois General Assembly. They have one thing in common–all are Democrats. Lausch has chipped away at the political machine of state Representative Michael Madigan (D-Chicago), who until last month had been state House speaker for all but two years since 1983. Lausch uncovered an alleged scam involving Commonwealth Edison, Illinois’ largest electric utility, that has led to the indictment of four senior executives at that company, as well as a longtime lobbyist with decades-long ties to Boss Madigan.

Madigan is the midwife of the Illinois pension debacle and he is the man who destroyed Illinois. Sadly, those aren’t crimes.

Lausch seems to be closing the ring on Madigan, who remains as chairman of the Illinois Democratic Party, a post he’s held since 1998. Madigan maintains his innocence and he has not been charged with any crimes. But he’s a tough one to investigate–Madigan doesn’t use email and he doesn’t own a cell phone. There’s a lot of smoke surrounding the 78-year-old legislator–but so far no fire has been discovered.

It took a lot longer than it should have but Illinois’ insipid Republican Party, the Washington Generals to the Democrats’ Harlem Globetrotters, finally pursued tying other Democratic candidates to Madigan, which led to a pretty good, but not great, general election for conservatives last autumn. The best result was the resounding defeat of the so-called Fair Tax Amendent, which would have replaced Illinois’ flat rate income tax with one with graduated rates. As I’ve quipped a few times before, Illinoisans finally figured out that if the Democrats were given an unlimited budget they would exceed it.

After the general election Illinois’ two Democratic US Senators, Dick Durbin and Tammy Duckworth, called for Madigan’s resignation as party chairman. No, they didn’t suddenly realize that Madigan is toxic to Illinois; Durbin and Duckworth didn’t like the general election results here.

The state House took care of the speakership problem, the Democrats ousted Madigan last month but replaced him with a longtime ally of the Boss.

The day after the Justice Department announced those federal prosecutor resignations, in what the Chicago Tribune called “a lame news release,”  those two party-line hack senators called on Biden to keep Lausch on the job. I am very suspicious of their motives. Duckworth is up for reelection next year and if the federal investigation into Chicago area corruption stalls she might get the blunt of the blame for not convincing Biden to keep Lausch in place.

Durbin is the new Senate Justice Committee chairman and prefers not to be accused of keeping corrupt Dems in power in his home state. Back to gerrymandering and Madigan: Aftet the 2010 census the state congressional map was redrawn to be much more favorable to Democrats. The 8th congressional district was transformed from a competitive one to a layout favoring Democrats. In 2012 Duckworth ousted the Republican incumbent, future never-Trumper Joe Walsh.

Remember, for many Democrats Madigan has been very good to them. His skills at gerrymandering have produced supermajorities in the General Assembly and have bolstered Democratic numbers among the Illinois US House delegation. There may have never been a Senator Duckworth had she not won that House race in 2012. Through government and compliant corporations like Commonwealth Edison, Madigan has been able to hand out contracts, favors, and jobs to those loyal to him–as well as their relatives.

Lausch needs to be kept on the job in Chicago.

Biden’s nominee for Attorney General is Merrick Garland, a Chicago area native who was nominated by Barack Obama to the US Supreme Court seat that eventually went to Neil Gorsuch. But he hasn’t lived here in decades. Yet my guess is that Garland has kept his eyes on the fetid muck in Illinois. Perhaps he can put in a good word for Lausch to Biden or whoever is making the calls in the White House on federal prosecutors.

Sorry to be repetitive, but I have to keep mentioning this fact. Illinois has lost population every year since 2014.

People have wised up. But not me. Not yet.

UPDATE February 23: Last night Michael Madigan resigned his post as chairman of the Illinois Democratic Party. Last week Madigan gave up his House seat after 50 years in the General Assembly. Term limits anyone?

This afternoon, according to multiple media reports, Lausch will keep his job as US attorney until a replacement is found and presumably confirmed.

John Ruberry regularly blogs from the Chicago area at Marathon Pundit.

You might recall that I argued that four years ago that the reason why Donald Trump won is because the left believed their own polling and was sure that Hillary had it in a landslide thus didn’t bother to fix the election in their key strongholds.

Meanwhile Democrat Bosses in Wisconsin Michigan and Minnesota had no inkling that the election was close, that being the case there was no reason why, in an age where proof of a federal offense is a cell phone video away, Dem bosses in Detroit or elsewhere felt the need to take any risk.  They figured those states were won (and they were right about Minnesota) and by election night it was too late to change it.

However that won’t be the case in 2020,  I’ll wager that in 2020 the bosses in Milwaukee, Detroit, Madison and elsewhere will be ready, we’ll see plenty of mail in ballots and absentee ballots that we didn’t see before in those states and plenty of voters looking to go for the GOP will be in the same spot that Steven Kruiser was on election night.

We have four years to prepare for this so we’d better get ready because as our friends on the left have demonstrated in the past, they play for keeps.

All of this while prophetic might not be relevant expect for one point.

You’ll note I didn’t have New Hampshire on that list. This is because in 2016 there was a key race for the Senate. On the GOP side Kelly Ayotte was running for re-election against Maggie Hassan.

It was very close and it seemed to take an awful long time to call such a small state, but Hassan ended up winning 354,649 to 353,632 a difference of only 1,017 votes and by an odd coincidence despite winning the primary there by a wide margin Donald Trump managed to lose NH as well.

While a few of us raised the question of fraud in NH with President Trump having the majority in both houses and the left all in on swinging electors nobody bothered to audit the machine at the time.

Flash forward to today and we have this story out of Granite Grok.

The Grok people being fair minded noted the following

It could be a machine error and unique to this town, but this is a troublesome event given speculation about fraud and Dominion machine counting hacks. And if it is an error what other errors occurred  (see, at the top of the ticket).

But now I ask you this question. If this “error” (have you noticed all such “errors” always seem to go in one direction had been repeated in just four of the 221 towns in NH in 2016 then Mitch McConnell would be the Senate Majority Leader and the dynamic for the Georgia Senate races would have been dramatically different.

Unexpectedly of course

Closing Note: Gateway pundit noted this story and interviewed on camera the Belknap County GOP committee member Dr.

Yup nothing suspicious about that, nothing to see here, move along.

As I like to say I’ll believe there wasn’t a conspiracy to steal election 2020 when the people who insist there was no conspiracy to steal election 2020 stop acting like they were members of a conspiracy to steal election 2020.
