As of Yesterday Youtube has supposedly reversed it’s position on commentary on the 2020 elections that they disagree with. Accordingly I attempted to log back into my youtube account and when I failed I sent them this email via their system:

I understand that you have now changed your policies on election commentary due to the curbs it made on free speech. As you banned me based three commentaries I made on election 2020 (all of which had under 100 views each) coincidently just as I was about to reach 1000 subscribers, I am asking if my over a decades worth of work including thousands of hours of interviews and reports, covering not only elections local state and national all over the nation but events from CPAC to Pinball festivals to quilt shops to religious gatherings will now be restored.

Let’s see if you actually meant these words:

“In the current environment, we find that while removing this content does curb some misinformation, it could also have the unintended effect of curtailing political speech without meaningfully reducing the risk of violence or other real-world harm.”

I pass the ball to you.

Their answer took less than 30 minutes:

Hi DaTechGuyBlog,
We have reviewed your appeal for the following:
Channel: DaTechGuyBlog
We reviewed your channel carefully, and have confirmed that it violates our Community Guidelines. We know this is probably disappointing news, but it’s our job to make sure that YouTube is a safe place for all.

In other words it’s BS.

I didn’t find it a surprise, dishonorable and dishonest people don’t suddenly start acting honorable and honest just because they put up a new stated policy. It’s a tad of a pain and it’s cost me some potential revenue at a time when things are tight but I can be proud that I didn’t compromise the right or the truth in the hope for a few dollars or some views. I got along fine long before Youtube ever existed and Rumble will do fine for me. I’ll give the last word to the English Poet Charles Mackay:

You have no enemies, you say?
Alas! my friend, the boast is poor;
He who has mingled in the fray
Of duty, that the brave endure,
Must have made foes! If you have none,
Small is the work that you have done,
You’ve hit no traitor on the hip,
You’ve dashed no cup from perjured lip,
You’ve never turned the wrong to right,
You’ve been a coward in the fight.

Now in fairness they haven’t totally kicked him off the platform like me but they wouldn’t allow this video up so let’s post it here

I think it’s the business of calling people who are pushing the mutilation and sterilization of kids what they are is more than Youtube can take.

Update: While the embed code worked in the preview pane it didn’t take on the blog so let’s try again

Here is the base link in case it still doesn’t work

I was at work and away from any kind of radio or TV when Damar Hamlin went down during the Bengals/Bills game.

When I got home I went to youtube to look at the video but what was pushed up front wasn’t the hit, which I would have expected to be front and center as a trending popular choice, but a video of a doctor, complete with labeled charts insisting that this particular hit was just at the right time in the cycle of the heartbeat to cause this issue and INSISTING that nobody should speculate about vaccines.

Don Surber is invoking the 24 hour rule which is sensible but this Doc obviously had this up and ready within 4 hours and youtube coincidently made it a point to promote it to me last night.

I can see why, you can have all the hashtags you want about “died suddenly” even on the new free to speak twitter but nothing gets the attention of the public then an athlete in seemingly peak shape suddenly collapsing in front of one of the largest TV audiences of the week after a hit that looked like nothing special.

No word on if the Doc has any comment on the sudden death of 38 year old former Jaguars guard Uche Nwaneri from acute heart failure. I presume nobody hit him.

Don Surber notes quite the coincidence of Joe Biden’s latest vacation to the Virgin Islands corresponding with this:

After successfully settling a $105 million lawsuit against the estate of Jeffrey Epstein in early December, U.S. Virgin Islands Attorney General Denise N. George then filed a lawsuit against JPMorgan Chase saying the “bank knowingly provided and pulled the levers through which recruiters and victims were paid.”

Attorney General Denise N George has just been fired.

Given this and the democrats sudden public support for drag queens shaking their genitals in the faces of kids It seems more and more likely that the entire party is simply a grooming gang.

Apparently Mastodon, the platform that a lot of high profile leftists and journalists migrated to after leaving twitter is according to this piece, a haven for child porn but does their best to hide that fact.

See my final comment from the previous block for my thoughts.

There was a conversation about electric cars on twitter than I joined making the following point:

Like COVID, ESPTEIN etc if people were just straight about things it would be much better. Given time electric cars may overcome their limitations, after all the internal combustion engine of 2022 is far superior to that of 1968, but they’re not there yet.

Apparently the push to make us panic about Monkeypox now called M-Pox has fizzled as no about of fearmongering or spin was able to convince people that a person who doesn’t engage in either

  1. Gay sex with a man
  2. Sex with someone who engages in gay sex with men

will catch it.

Oh well I’m sure they’ll manage to unload the various vaccines over time.

There seems to be a lot of weird things going on with the NFL in terms of rulings and results. Many odd endings, many surprise finishes and results. It makes games rather interesting.

A lot of people have commented on these things but nobody is talking about the elephant in the room which is the proliferation of gambling on sports.

Can anyone tell me why we should not assume that the hundreds of millions being bet on the NFL is not affecting how the game is played, coached or refed?

Old friend Ladd Ehlinger (Filmladd) now has a Youtube Channel, you can find it and his material here:

I suggest subscribing, I’d do it myself but as you all know I’ve been permanently suspended from youtube for daring to suggest that election 2020 was not completely honest.

For the record you can find most of my material than managed to migrate on my Rumble channel here.

The first two episodes of season 3 of The Chosen are now both available so those of us who did not go to the theatre are caught up.

They have already managed to pay for two complete episodes of season 4 and are less than $32,000 away from making it three out of 8 as of this writing.

It will be interesting to see how much more of season four is paid for as the next four episodes are broadcast along with a 2nd movie premiere that is apparently planned for episodes 7 & 8. They’re 15 million to go to finish funding that season. I’d not be surprised if have it all funded before Easter (April 9th) but I suspect that before this season has been broadcast they will be at least 5 episodes completely paid for.

While this has been the slowest Christmas I’ve ever seen at work we had a tiny burst of orders this week.

It seems a lot of people believe that if you order something with two day delivery seven days before Christmas you’ll still manage to get it on time. Of course if EVERYONE decides to try to order 2nd day at the same time then there isn’t enough capacity to get everything in time delivered.

This happens every single Christmas as if nobody every learns. That’s one thing I’ll give Amazon, they started warning people “This will arrive after Christmas” last week.

Of course if you celebrate all seven days of Christmas that’s not a problem.

Finally the Jan 6th committee kangaroo court has decided recommended charges against Donald Trump in their last days and the media is practically orgasmic.

It’s a testament to how effective Donald Trump was as president that the left/media has spent the last six years going through so much effort to demonize him even to the point (as the twitter files expose) of the FBI actively working to help fix the election.

My thought is it would have been a lot easier for the deep state to not worry about it and ride out a re-election. By now they’d be almost done with him and able to resume business and graft as usual. In fact I suspect if they had made a deal or two with him early he wouldn’t have gotten in their way all that much.

If it was worth that much effort to keep him from the office the rot that is going on must be a lot worse and a lot deeper than we even now currently think. It also explains why the left was so panicked about Musk taking over Twitter.

Yet for some reason Trump scared them so much that they have come out into the open to be seen, giving us the choice to deal wit it or let it be. That more than anything else has been the greatest legacy of his administration that it has given us the people the choice of keeping our republic or freely letting it go.

May we choose wisely.
