As conditions here in this nation steadily deteriorate I find it most disheartening that so few seem to care.  Far fewer seem inclined to do anything to stop and roll back the progressive onslaught on the freedom and prosperity of the American people.  This is most shocking considering the fact that hardcore progressives make up only a small percentage of the population of this nation.  There are many reasons for this.

Only a small minority of American people actually know what is going on because the left has such a stranglehold on the lines of communication most of us rely on.  With the exception of Fox News, all of the major news networks spout leftist propaganda.  Newsmax and One America News are small potatoes compared to the others and Fox News is far from the Conservative powerhouse it was back in 2010, having been corrupted with progressive influence.  Here in Massachusetts the local news is pure leftist tripe.  Every time I watch I get nauseated.  So few have access to the truth.

The progressive news media is so adept at casting everything from that side of the political spectrum in a purely positive light, while denigrating all things conservative and libertarian as pure evil.  Because of this most of the more moderate leftists consider themselves to be on the right side of every issue.

Thanks to the widespread censorship of those on the right side of the political spectrum by the social media giants, most are unaware just how bad conditions are.  Most are unaware that progressive policies have caused the carnage.

After several decades of progressive indoctrination at the college level, and a decade at the high and grade school levels, about half of all Americans do not value freedom and liberty.  They mistakenly believe socialism is superior to capitalism.

Progressives have learned that fear is overwhelmingly powerful weapon when it comes to subjugating a populace.  The Wuhan Flu pandemic was the perfect weapon to accomplish this.  It was extremely disturbing to see most of the population meekly accept the trampling of their most important rights.

The deck is so unfairly stacked against us, yet we must wake up our friends and neighbors.  Violence is not the answer.  Communication amd peaceful resistance are our most crucial tools.

I wasn’t aware of the suit against Pfizer claiming they violated their contract with the Government over the COVID vaccine and thus doesn’t have immunity over their delivered vaccine. Given the ads constantly be running on radio about watching for signs of heart issues that are sponsored by them (ads we didn’t see three years ago) they might be worried but all of this depends on how the court defines “Save and effective”. If they make sure it’s defined in their favor it all doesn’t matter.

In Minnesota they’re having fun adjusting definitions of “woman” as a Transgender Powerlifter has won in court against the US Powerlifting federation. Apparently under Minnesota law, at least according to the court, to stop a man who believes himself to be a woman from competing against other woman is discriminatory and traumatic.

Hey if at least one justice on the Supreme Court can’t under oath define what a woman is how do you expect judges on the Minnesota courts to do so.

If they lose their appeals my advice is to drop all segregation by sex in powerlifting. I suspect once the prospects finishing in a medal round disappear so will these “woman” from competition.

Over at Legal Insurrection there is a piece about Germany banning protests against abortion as the “40 days for life” movement has come there and made quite a splash.

The left fear is always a good sign but there was something in the piece that jumped out at me:

Currently, abortion is illegal in Germany, but women and their doctors do not face penalties if the pregnancy poses a health risk to the woman or in cases of rape. There is also a loophole under which an abortion may be carried out within the first 12 weeks of pregnancy (14 weeks since the last period) after mandatory counseling.

emphasis mine

That seems a rather flexible definition of the word “illegal” in my books, but to a person of a certain age Germans finding a loophole allowing them to kill undesirables is almost tradition.

The Twitter files keep coming out an the government’s use of the word “disinformation” to justify their actions is looking worse and worse as the New Neo reports:

Maybe GEC’s involvement was a secret, but it was no secret – to anyone paying attention – that vast numbers of Twitter accounts were being censored for fairly ordinary viewpoints, the majority of them on the right. It wasn’t limited to Twitter, either – YouTube was heavily involved.

I can vouch for the Youtube censorship but to me the real key line of the story (other than this being, surprise an Obama initiative is this:

The center has a budget of roughly $74 million and “reportedly gave to at least 39 different organizations, whose names were redacted” in an inspector general report.

I submit and suggest that this was, and still is, all about funding leftist front groups to point to their political enemies to have them censored.

Just over two thousands years ago Jesus Christ said:

John 8:32

Apparently Scott Adams has confirmed this is true

This makes this particular bit about the Scott Adams story, via Roger Kimball, particularly interesting:

Oh, the howls of outrage that comment elicited! The woke beast was awake and on the prowl. “Dilbert has been cancelled from all newspapers, websites, calendars, and books,” Adams said. Why? “Because I gave some advice everyone agreed with. (My syndication partner canceled me.)”

Once whetted, the appetite of the woke beast is insatiable. A day or two later, Adams reported, “My publisher for non-Dilbert books has canceled my upcoming book and the entire backlist. Still no disagreement about my point of view. My book agent canceled me too.”`

It is true, by the way, that “everyone agrees” with the point that Adams made. Everyone knows it is true. But no one is supposed to admit that it is true. Adams made it all worse by observing that “There is nothing more painful to me at this stage in my life than to walk down the street and hear footsteps . . . then turn around and see somebody white and feel relieved.” Oh, wait. I got my notes confused. That wasn’t Scott Adams. That was the professional black Jesse Jackson in 1993

Perhaps the word “cancelled” might have to be redefined

Deep down every wokester is weak. Just as most bullies are. You criticize a woke person and you are called a racist, a bigot, or some sort of “phobe” or another. They expect you to cower in shame afterwards.

And if you don’t?

Like the dystopia described in Ray Bradbury’s Fahrenheit 451, the editing of books deemed offensive has begun. The endgame in Bradbury’s storyline was the banning of all books.

Last week the publisher of Roald Dahl, Puffin, announced it was editing some of his works–which include the classics Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, James and the Giant Peach, and Matilda–to remove language they deem offensive. Augustus Gloop, the gluttonous German boy in the first book, will no longer be “fat,” he’ll be “enormous.” In Matilda, “mothers and fathers” become “parents.” The bald witches in The Witches will come with a disclaimer about baldness.

Next came the backlash.

But let’s talk about the author first.

Dahl, who died in 1990, had slight misanthropic and even more direct anti-Semitic sentiments. At the very least he was a beast of a person. Dahl’s marriage to Hollywood actress Patricia Neal–one of my late mother’s favorite performers by the way–was tumultuous. Neal suffered a stroke while pregnant, and as she recovered, she couldn’t remember the words of many things. Dahl, a serial adulterer throughout their marriage, refused to give his wife things she asked for, including food, until she used the correct word.

Neal’s nickname for her husband was “Roald the Rotten.”

Dahl’s publisher for much of his career was Alfred A. Knopf.

After asking Knopf that a person who was “competent and ravishing” should send him dozens of Dixon Ticonderoga pencils, Dahl was sent different ones, after his first request was laughed off. Dahl made more demands and then threatened to send his writings to a different publisher.

But instead, Knopf released the popular author. Employees of the publishing house cheered when they heard the news of Dahl’s dismissal. They fought back against a bully and won.

Salman Rushdie, who lost his sight in one eye after a recent attack, was one of the prominent writers who came to Dahl’s defense. “Roald Dahl was no angel but this is absurd censorship,” Rushdie Tweeted. “Puffin Books and the Dahl estate should be ashamed.”

Even Queen Camilla voiced her support for him.

A few days later Puffin backed off. Oh, it will still publish the edited, make that censored, versions of Dahl’s books. But the original Dahl works will also be printed. Here’s my prediction: Woke Dahl, just like the New Coke debacle several decades ago, will go down as colossal failure. Vintage Dahl will win.

Heroes are hard to find in these complicated times. But the legacy of “Roald the Rotten” has been used to fight back against another bully, the woke movement, which deems itself morally correct and beyond reproach.

The installment of the Twitter Files released this past Monday contains very damming evidence that the Biden Regime played a direct role in the large-scale censorship of countless Americans.

The Freedom of Speech Clause of the First Amendment specifically prevents the federal government from infringing with the free speech of any American. If a president were to order the censorship of American people that would be a violation of the First Amendment, along with his oath of office.  The framers of the Constitution would most definitely consider this an impeachable offense.

As you can see from this CNS News article, the Biden White House is directly implicated in this despicable mass censorship of Conservatives and Libertarians on Twitter.

In the summer of 2021, president Biden said social media companies were ‘killing people’ for allowing vaccine misinformation. Berenson was suspended hours after Biden’s comments, and kicked off the platform the following month.

“Berenson sued (and then settled with) Twitter. In the legal process Twitter was compelled to release certain internal communications, which showed direct White House pressure on the company to take action on Berenson.”

Zweig said the evidence — a Twitter executive’s summary of meetings with the White House — shows that the Biden White House “repeatedly attempted to directly influence” Twitter’s content.

A Twitter executive wrote that “the Biden team was ‘very angry’ that Twitter had not been more aggressive in deplatforming multiple accounts. They wanted Twitter to do more.”

Millions of Americans were silenced by Twitter simply because they dared to write and share posts that contradicted the official party line of the Biden Regime.

“Inevitably, dissident yet legitimate content was labeled as misinformation, and the accounts of doctors and others were suspended both for tweeting opinions and demonstrably true information,” Zweig said.

Zweig goes on to name the names of some people who tweeted views at odds with public health authorities and the American left, the latter well represented at Twitter.

“In my review of internal files, I found countless instances of tweets labeled as ‘misleading’ or taken down entirely, sometimes triggering account suspensions, simply because they veered from CDC guidance or differed from establishment views,” Zweig wrote.

The Biden White House is directly implicated in the mass censorship.  The buck stops with Joe Biden.  It takes no great leap of imagination to reach the conclusion that Joe Biden ordered the censorship.

I believe that this is proof that Joe Biden committed an impeachable offense.  I am not the only person to reach this conclusion.
