“In Any Other Situation…” Under the Fedora

Posted: December 4, 2020 by datechguy in Uncategorized

Imagine someone robs you, cheats you blatantly and you produce witnesses who swear under other that it’s been done. In any other situation it is expected that action is taken to punish those who have done this and restore what has been stolen. However in politics according to our “betters” and our elites, we are supposed to allow ourselves to be robbed and cheated without complaint, without anger and without vengeance.

Simply because it’s the Democrats who do the robbing.

If you hire people to do a job and part of that job is to protect you and your interests. If they abandon you and allow you to be robbed and cheated, in any other situation you would be expected to not rehire said people and withdraw support from them.

But because the Senate is so close, we are expected to reward the GOP in Georgia & elsewhere even if they leave the entire county out to dry.

If you have a new quarterback and 3/4 of the way into the season you have already equaled your previous season’s win total and are currently playoff bound with complete control over your playoff destiny. In any other situation this would be a cause for celebration and a sign of progress.

But because your new Quarterback is Tom Brady. The media is treating this as a sign of a disappointing season.

If you have a coach that had a winning record for twenty years, made the playoff for 17 of those 20 and won their division for the last ten years and won six championships and he opens the season with a 5-6 record, the worst since his 1st year in another other situation you would call that season an abject failure and critique the coach without mercy.

But because this is Bill Belichick playing only his 3rd season without Tom Brady at the helm, people are talking about him being in contention for coach of the year.

The draconian restrictions issued by Governor Charlie Baker in the name of fighting Coronavirus violate many provisions of the Massachusetts Constitution, along with provisions of the United States Constitution.  The proper level to undo these unconstitutional edicts is on the State level not the federal level. Thanks to our abysmal educational system far too many of us have been brainwashed into believing that the Supreme Court is the one and only venue for addressing all wrongs committed by any level of government.  The founding fathers of this nation along with the framers of the US Constitution and the State Constitutions would be completely dismayed by that level of constitutional ignorance.

The system of government enshrined in the United States Constitution is a distributed constitutional system where legal and constitutional disputes involving state governments are supposed to be solved on the state level and only those involving the federal government are supposed to be solved on the federal level.

Stay at home orders and the orders to close businesses clearly violate the following clause of the Massachusetts Constitution because  liberty, or the freedom to live our lives as we please, is one of our most important natural rights.

Article I.  All men are born free and equal, and have certain natural, essential, and unalienable rights; among which may be reckoned the right of enjoying and defending their lives and liberties; that of acquiring, possessing, and protecting property; in fine, that of seeking and obtaining their safety and happiness.

The government of the State of Massachusetts can only take away the freedom of individuals to come and go from their homes as they please if they are found guilty in a court of law.  That is spelled out in this clause:

Article XII.  And no subject shall be arrested, imprisoned, despoiled, or deprived of his property, immunities, or privileges, put out of the protection of the law, exiled, or deprived of his life, liberty, or estate, but by the judgment of his peers, or the law of the land.

Police officers have absolutely no authority under the Massachusetts Constitution to knock on your door and check to see if you have more than ten people attending a Thanksgiving gathering, Christmas party. or any social event.  If they do the we have every right to demand they produce a warrant.  You are guaranteed that right by the following clause:

Article XIV.  Every subject has a right to be secure from all unreasonable searches, and seizures, of his person, his houses, his papers, and all his possessions. All warrants, therefore, are contrary to this right, if the cause or foundation of them be not previously supported by oath or affirmation; and if the order in the warrant to a civil officer, to make search in suspected places, or to arrest one or more suspected persons, or to seize their property, be not accompanied with a special designation of the persons or objects of search, arrest, or seizure: and no warrant ought to be issued but in cases, and with the formalities prescribed by the

Only laws passed through the formal legislative process are valid laws in the State of Massachusetts.  These edicts issued by Governor Baker were not passed through the formal legislative process therefore they are not valid.

Article II.  No bill or resolve of the senate or house of representatives shall become a law, and have force as such, until it shall have been laid before the governor for his revisal; and if he, upon such revision, approve thereof, he shall signify his approbation by signing the same. But if he have any objection to the passing of such bill or resolve, he shall return the same, together with his objections thereto, in writing, to the senate or house of representatives

This article specifically prevents any governor of this state from issuing any edicts of any kind.

Article XXX.  In the government of this commonwealth, the legislative department shall never exercise the executive and judicial powers, or either of them: the executive shall never exercise the legislative and judicial powers, or either of them: the judicial shall never exercise the legislative and executive powers, or either of them: to the end it may be a government of laws and not of men.

This article clearly states that we the people are in charge of the State of Massachusetts, not the politicians we elect.

Article V.  All power residing originally in the people, and being derived from them, the several magistrates and officers of government, vested with authority, whether legislative, executive, or judicial, are their substitutes and agents, and are at all times accountable to them.

If we do not like what our elected servants are doing we the people of this state have the absolute authority to reform the government and make sure they listen.

Article VII.  Government is instituted for the common good; for the protection, safety, prosperity and happiness of the people; and not for the profit, honor, or private interest of any one man, family, or class of men: Therefore the people alone have an incontestable, unalienable, and indefeasible right to institute government; and to reform, alter, or totally change the same, when their protection, safety, prosperity and happiness require it.

Israeli Ambassador: Israeli intelligence says that East Yemen are going to invade St. George’s Island in the next few days.

PM Jim Hacker: What? So that’s the connection.

Israeli Ambassador: And your foreign office has agreed with East Yemen that they’ll make strong diplomatic representations but do nothing. In return they’ll let you keep your airport contract after they’ve taken over.

Yesterday my friend Sissy Willis account was give this same treatment that I’ve been getting since election day.

I’ve emailed Sissy they won’t let her back without a phone number that she refused to supply so she is basically done.

So in solidarity with Sissy I decided to play Benford’s law tag again

and much to my surprise found out that I am now able to tweet out the link without being auto locked.

much to my surprise…

I even tried to tweet out just the link like before and it not only worked but wasn’t hidden from my timeline.

The initial joy at the victory however was dampened when I realized that this was a twitter application of the Prevent defense.

In football the prevent defense is the source of a lot of critique. The basic idea is to prevent a long pass and trade yardage for time under the theory that you have the lead and just need to burn out the clock to secure the win.

That was basically the Twitter plan with the multiple lockouts with Benford’s law. In fact that is why this excellent thread from the 8th was shadowbanned that I only found today:

read this whole thread it shows this stuff has been going on for years

The plan in my opinion was to basically keep this info away from the general public during the time when it was most likely to cause uproar. The longer it was delayed the less likely pols in MI GA WI AZ or PA would be willing to take the steps necessary to stop this fraud and thus the crowing of Biden as Commander in thief becomes a fait acompli because there is no time to stop it.

Twitter must be very happy but there will be a price but that’s tomorrow’s post.

Exit Question: Why can’t they call a special session?

Then children were brought to him that he might lay his hands on them and pray. The disciples rebuked them, but Jesus said, “Let the children come to me, and do not prevent them; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

After he placed his hands on them, he went away.

Matthew 19:13-15

There was a slightly comic moment last week at mass.

At the point where the Our Father (or as our Protestant Brother’s call it the Lord’s Prayer) was stated there was one voice that was much louder than the rest.

It was a boy about four or five years old who said it with such gusto that the entire church could hear it. Both my wife and I smiled and after Mass before grappling with a crowded parking lot she talked to his mother (and I his father) about how it brought a smile to our faces before I ducked into the confessional for a quick confession.

The reason why the parking lot was so full and the reason my confession was so quick was because Father was flat out. Apparently two Baptisms were scheduled for after mass one at 11 & one at 11:30 so as the time was tighter than normal he asked the 1st family to show a tad early and the deacon asked the 2nd to show a tad late.

There have been baptisms after mass almost every week lately so much so that the absence of them at yesterday’s mass stood out.

But while there were no new Baptisms the little boy who had been loud the previous week was there in the pew ahead of me along with his three sisters and two older brothers with his parents flanking him taking up the entire pew. He was not as loud but just the sight of him kept the smile up.

And when I turned to greet others (the sign of peace is not longer explicitly done due to COVID but everyone turns and waves anyways) it was clear that their pew was not the only one filled by a family with four or more children.

Some are annoyed by the crowd these baptisms make in the parking lot or the large amount of kids, I’m not.

I would like my parish to still be there in my old age and the bottom line is that if the people at your church do not take the time to “be fruitful and multiply” as scripture says there won’t be a church in a generation.
