Planet Gallifrey has shots from the filming of the final specials of David Tennant’s run as the Doctor. And it looks like Donna Noble’s time is not as up as it appeared.

…Dr. Who will win every time.

So today it’s series 3 until veneration of the cross and some customer work

My Review of the Big Finish Doctor Who Audio The Fires of Vulcan is now available at Amazon.com here.

Big Finish # 12

Big Finish # 12

It is interesting to note that this adventure doesn’t conflict with the 4th Doctor adventure The fires of Pompeii. In fact it reinforces it.

Note that the Doctor as soon as he realizes where he is doesn’t hesitate, doesn’t pontificate he immediately turns and starts booking for the Tardis. Since he knows the Volcano doesn’t errupt till the next day there shouldn’t be the same hurry or panic. But if he KNOWS that he is already there in a previous incarnation then that changes the picture and he needs to be out of there as soon as he can.

Thus Fires of Vulcan is not only a first rate episode it makes Fires of Pompeii even better.

Short sighted idiots

I’ve already made my opinion on illegal immigration known, but these people are making a huge mistake:

During a decade in the U.S., Mexican immigrant Linex Rivera gave birth to three daughters, whose American citizenship offered her hope of staying in the land of opportunity. But with job prospects drying up for her husband, Ms. Rivera last week joined a phalanx of compatriots at the Mexican consulate in Los Angeles inquiring about obtaining Mexican citizenship for their children

Obama or no, anyone who thinks the interests of their children and themselves are better with Mexican citizenship than with American citizenship are out of their minds. It will be no more useful than the bees heading back to melissa majoria. It won’t save them in the end.
