There were over 100 votes between A & B already and a very steady stream of voters

This is the first time I’ve ever seen poll watchers

Two years ago I was the lonely person holding a sign for McCain and Palin. today there were 5 people holding republican signs and a single person holding one sign…for Sheriff.

If this is being repeated all over the state then democrats….Be Afraid, be very afraid!

Update: yup is should have said AM

Apparently the other statement didn’t do much good for her poll numbers:

“I have caucused with the Republicans in the past, I will be caucusing with the Republicans when I go back in January,” said Murkowski in a phone interview, responding to recent news reports speculating whether she’d buck the party, and comments Murkowski made over the weekend saying that if elected, she would represent Alaska before the Republican Party.

Is it going to be enough to make a difference? I wouldn’t bet a whole lot of money on it, but I must confess I like the spelling bee commercial, I think it’s cute and effective.

Inquiring minds want to know

Hey ma-3 its your choice.

Cooking supper right now so only time for quick summary

About 350 people attended.

It was great to see friends who I was on the Bus with, they were rather surprised to see me and I’m flattered to be remembered.

Lots of candidates including Marty Lamb (ma-3) Jen Caissie (Gov Counsel) Rodney Josephson (ma rep) Lew Evangelidis and Keith Nicholas & Bill Campbell and I’m sure I missed a few others.

About 30 anti-tea party protesters showed up, apparently some were a group of McGovern Supporters who regularly dog Marty Lamb. Many were 20 somethings wearing masks. The reason for a Mask became apparent when one of them assaulted a passing motorist who beeped support for the tea party resulting in a call to the police and the officers keeping the counter protesters a distance away.

There was no stage they performed on a small lip at the monument at Lincoln square.

The crowd seemed to enjoy themselves.

After the assault the police officers were very much in evidence

Oddly enough Jim McGovern scheduled an event for directly after so you had some mixture of the new people and the old in the end.

The thing that astounded me more than anything else wasn’t the left not taking off hats for the pledge or the national anthem, but the dancing around by the left while Debbie Lee gold star mother talked about the action where her son was killed in Iraq. Rather disgraceful.

I will upload photos and video as time permits

UPDATE: Here is John Weston on the assault

Update 2: Pitchers we’ve got Pitchers!
