Had a very pleasant time with the Right wing Gamer, Mitch Townsend of Chicagoboyz , libertarian Leanings Martin Soloman of Solomonia and neoneocon.

We ate Linguini’s Pizza and entrees and talked blogging and the Radio show (DaTechGuy on DaRadio). The nitty-gritty is that I’m hoping to have all of these fine bloggers as part of a rotating series of panelists on my second hour starting in February. All of this is in the semi planning stage but right now I’m leaning toward a panel for the first 2 segments of the 2nd hour and a final guest for the end or maybe going with 4 segments with a half hour with the panel, and two short guest segments, maybe an author and an advocate. I’m also thinking a local pol for a regular panelist to promote local readership since most advertisers are local.

I’m very interested in what my listeners have to say so if you have suggestions leave them in comments. Also if you are a New England Blogger interested in being on the panel or talking to me about the future of the show leave a comment and we can arrange to meet.

I hoping to talk about a panel for the 2nd hour and some interesting possibilities for bloggers on WCRN.

You will like the food at Linguini’s. It’s just off of 495 (route 20 west exit) and yes it will be separate checks.

Hope to see you there.

In between selling ads today I’m having a small lunch with some bloggers here at the Border Grille and Bar today from 12-1 or so.

If you are not familiar with their lunch buffet here is a peek from last month

There was a reason why Stacy McCain held court here last January, and food like this is why.

Ironically this fits in perfect with Michael Graham’s lead story today:

And so Kessler and other big-government advocates featured in the NYTimes are demanding government regulation on foods that taste “too good,” and on ads that sell them “too well.” Who will make these arbitrary decisions? Why the same brilliant government employees who figured out that the pond in your back yard is a wetland and who are sending notes home with your kids telling you they’re fat.

This is a SNL skit just waiting to be written, Kessler’s Kitchen Nightmares where Kessler goes to restaurants that have too many people enjoying their food and teaches them how to make it taste worse!

the Blogger Right Wing Granny talked with me after the debate

The newest member of the Axis of Fedora’s take on the debate is here

There were about two hundred people at the event. The Moderator for the event was Stefani Traina of the League of Women Voters of Andover – North Andover. First of all, there was no American flag at this event. Second of all, when one of the candidates brought up the voting record of Congressman McGovern, the moderator stopped him, calling that a personal attack. When the audience responded loudly, a discussion of the candidate’s voting record was permitted.

This was not really a debate. The candidates were not allowed direct exchanges and there were many things said that I personally knew were not true, but there was no provision in the format the challenge the statements made.
