I am proud to be a nonconforming nonconformist who doesn’t conform to anything

I have always been most proud of the fact that I am truly a unique individual.  I have never fit in anywhere and never wanted to.  The people who know me say that I am way, way out there in my own little universe.  I don’t march to the beat of a different drum, I wander aimlessly to music that only I can hear in my head. 

From the beginning of this great nation, individuality was most highly prized.  Rugged individualism was one of the cornerstones that the United States was built upon.  The Constitution was written specifically to protect the God-given natural rights of every single individual in the United States. 

Classical Liberalism, which is the precise opposite of modern liberalism, is the philosophy that was closely held by the founding fathers of the United States.  They infused that philosophy into the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution so thoroughly that it is the lifeblood of the United States.

Libertarianism is the modern equivalent of Classical Liberalism. That is the philosophy that is at the very core of my being because no philosophy is more individualistic.  According to Libertarianism and Classical Liberalism, each and every individual is free to do whatever they want to as long as they do not hurt any individual or interfere with the rights of any other individual. 

In a true Classically Liberal society, such as the United States was meant to be, each and every individual is free to live their lives as they wish, as long as do not hurt anyone or interfere with the rights of anyone.  As long as we do not hurt others or interfere with the rights of others, the government at all levels must leave us alone to live our lives as we wish, neither restraining or helping us in any way.

Today the United States is as far away from being a Classically Liberal society as can possibly be because this nation has been infected by various forms of collectivist philosophies, in ever increasing amounts, for more than 100 years.  Collectivism is the very opposite of individualism. Those utopian philosophies, when instituted, turn any society into a hell where any individual, or group of individuals, can be sacrificed by any government, for any reason.  This is most often done in the name of the “greater good.”

The Democratic Party has been completely taken over by collectivists of a socialist variety.  Since the installation of Joe Biden, thanks to the stolen 2020 presidential election, the Democrats have nearly completed their transformation of the United States into collectivist hell hole.

Rather than individualism, collectivist mob rule by brain washed masses is now the predominant culture of United States.

In primitive environments, the herd instinct serves as a means of survival. If some sense danger and rush to safety, all follow. But how does such a conformity impulse work in a high-tech society like ours? It doesn’t really.

Sure, a certain level of conformity is normal for a society to function. But an unchecked conformity impulse in a technological society like ours acts more like slow-motion suicide than a survival mechanism. We think we’re saving ourselves by conforming, but in the long run the opposite is true.

In fact, our instinct to conform has become a weapon tyrants use to control us by threatening social isolation for those who don’t obey. This is especially the case when a monopoly of tech overlords can broadcast propaganda to the herd, instantly and globally. In such cases there is no “wisdom of crowds.” When the masses obey the propaganda to avoid social punishment, they only prop up propaganda and thereby spread social turmoil.

The lack of resistance to the liberty destroying mandates and lockdowns imposed to combat the Wuhan Flu here in the United States was rather appalling to me.  This lack of resistance was brought about by decades of collectivist indoctrination and the destruction of our true history.

If we were still a nation of nonconforming nonconformists like me, the Wuhan Flu restrictions, mandates, lockdowns, and other nonsense would have ended rather quickly.  Unfortunately for all of us, the United States is now a nation of conforming sheeple.

One of the most interesting side effects of the war in Ukraine is the sudden shift in the left on several things.

Last week the left was telling us that armed citizens are dangerous and no regular person needs a gun

This week the left suddenly deciding that civilians armed with military weapons as a good thing.

Last week “Toxic Masculinity” was a curse that universities needed to purge using tools like Critical Race Theory to get this poison out of society.

This week the Masculinity of standing up to Tanks, Air Bombings and Fleets demanding surrender is something to produce awe and admiration.

Last week running away from Truckers who were honking horns at people was a good thing as US democrats overwhelmingly supported Trudeau

This week not running away from bombs etc and declaring “I don’t need a ride I need ammunition” is the template for how leaders should act.

This week you see everything from the Simpsons to Hollywood stars to members of congress celebrating the brave Ukrainian people.

But last week if you took the average Ukrainian now fighting the Russians, a white Christian who doesn’t believe in gay marriage, defines a woman by her sex and if asked tells you there is only two genders in the US, those same people celebrating them today would demand they be cancelled and or fired from any public position they hold.

The optimist in me would like to say this is because reality tends to trump woke stupidity and the realty of an actual war causes one to brush aside all the foolishness that people insulated from danger embrace.

But the realist tells me that the left understands that the fall of Ukraine would be a disaster politically for the left and their message worldwide and so they will jump with enthusiasm to defend them. That is defend them rhetorically, not in person of course That’s just as well a person who needs counseling for microaggressions is not likely to cope with battlefield conditions.

BTW if you are a true believer in the whole woke canon and are shocked and disgusted by this sudden volta face of the elites and their followers have no fear. Once the war is over and the danger to Ukraine the left’s political viability is past, all of those things that they are now celebrating will once again be beyond the pale.

Unexpectedly of course.

I’m Old Enough to Remember When the idea that the Government Was Hooking People of Color on Drugs Was a Conspiracy Theory

Ten Years ago when I woke up to the news that Barack Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize for basically being Barack Obama I though that I was still asleep and just dreaming.

It’s happened again, but instead of a silly dream it’s apparently a nightmare:

“The Biden administration is set to fund the distribution of crack pipes to drug addicts as part of its plan to advance ‘racial equity.’ The $30 million grant program, which closed applications Monday and will begin in May, will provide funds to nonprofits and local governments to help make drug use safer for addicts.

“Included in the grant, which is overseen by the Department of Health and Human Services, are funds for ‘smoking kits/supplies.’ A spokesman for the agency told the Washington Free Beacon that these kits will provide pipes for users to smoke crack cocaine, crystal methamphetamine, and ‘any illicit substance.’”

Four thoughts

  1. If this had been a Trump program the moment it had been proposed every media outlet in the nation would have been screaming it was a conspiracy to keep people of color hooked on crack, but instead we are only hearing about this after the grant program had closed applications for the funds.
  2. I maintain that the last election was stolen and the information that continues to get around the media’s blockade increasingly supports that idea and Donald Trump did better with the black community then other GOP members, nevertheless the Black Community overwhelmingly supported this administrations election therefore I don’t want to hear a damn thing ever again about the circle of poverty and addition when said community is aiding an abetting such a scheme.
  3. What makes this even worse is the supposed “leaders” of the Black community in congress and in the communities did not raise holy hell over this program and the cementing of a permanent addicted black underclass whose addictions will be supported by government funds. This tells you all you need to know about what the so called black leadership thinks about the black community. Remember this is being done under the guise of “racial equality”.
  4. Finally I must commend the various drug gangs and cartels on their ability to normalize themselves within the American system. They apparently have used their influence and cash to lobby and/or contribute through the political system to such a degree that a program whose very suggestion would have been condemned by members of both parties in the 60’s is now going though without a whimper. These guys might be evil but nobody can say they’re not smart.

You wanted a post Christian society, you’ve got it.

Just about half of Democrats embrace abject Covid tyranny

Anyone living in a Democrat controlled state, such as the People’s Republic of Massachusetts, are well aware that the Wuhan Virus pandemic has revealed an even more malevolent and insidious pandemic amongst our Democrat brethren.  The pandemic I’m referring to is one of tyranny, oppression, and outright fascism. 

Elected Democrat officials, at all levels of government here in the United States, have imposed draconian restrictions on the people under their dominion, in the name of fighting a virus with a better than a 99.7 percent survival rate.

These draconian restrictions, including mask mandates, lockdowns, vaccine mandates, and vaccine passports, are embraced by a very significant majority of those living in this country who identify as Democrats. 

According to this Rasmussen survey, nearly half of all Democrats would be in favor of imposing far more tyrannical restrictions to fight the Wuhan Flu.

Fifty-eight percent (58%) of voters would oppose a proposal for federal or state governments to fine Americans who choose not to get a COVID-19 vaccine. However, 55% of Democratic voters would support such a proposal, compared to just 19% of Republicans and 25% of unaffiliated voters.

Fifty-nine percent (59%) of Democratic voters would favor a government policy requiring that citizens remain confined to their homes at all times, except for emergencies, if they refuse to get a COVID-19 vaccine. Such a proposal is opposed by 61% of all likely voters, including 79% of Republicans and 71% of unaffiliated voters.

Nearly half (48%) of Democratic voters think federal and state governments should be able to fine or imprison individuals who publicly question the efficacy of the existing COVID-19 vaccines on social media, television, radio, or in online or digital publications. Only 27% of all voters – including just 14% of Republicans and 18% of unaffiliated voters – favor criminal punishment of vaccine critics.

Forty-five percent (45%) of Democrats would favor governments requiring citizens to temporarily live in designated facilities or locations if they refuse to get a COVID-19 vaccine. Such a policy would be opposed by a strong majority (71%) of all voters, with 78% of Republicans and 64% of unaffiliated voters saying they would Strongly Oppose putting the unvaccinated in “designated facilities.”

While about two-thirds (66%) of likely voters would be against governments using digital devices to track unvaccinated people to ensure that they are quarantined or socially distancing from others, 47% of Democrats favor a government tracking program for those who won’t get the COVID-19 vaccine.

The contents of this survey are exceptionally shocking to me.  I’ve studied the true history of the United States, not the extremely odious revisionist crap that has been shoveled to college students for several decades.  I’ve studied the original meaning of the Constitution in extreme detail.  World history, with a particular focus on the carnage caused by tyrannical governments, is also my passion.  I am absolutely outraged that such a significant percentage of Democrats support out right tyrannical policies, the same policies that led to the deaths of over 100 million individuals last century.

The fault lies with us Libertarians and Conservatives.  We allowed the political left to take over our entire educational system and we abandoned the culture war to the left as well.  This needs to be righted immediately if we are to make sure this current nightmare is finally ended, and is never repeated.  I know that is a very tall order but it is one we must begin immediately.
