Yes it’s true…

…you don’t have to go far on the internet to find one of my hats on a young lady’s head.

And speaking of this young lady’s head it is definitely screwed on right because she tells us this:

Bob (Belvedere) makes the great point that we don’t just need to mathematically get more votes than the Democrats; we need to win by enough so that they can’t steal elections from us. (If you heard the wailing and gnashing of teeth in the 2000 election, just consider that it was the frustration of Democrats who were dying to steal that election and were furious – furious! – that the rule of law intervened.)

Now, just a thought: beyond campaigning our butts off for the next 26 days, why don’t we all be poll-watchers on Election Day? Candidates have a legal right to send representatives to examine the ballot boxes before polling commences (ensuring that the boxes are empty and set to zero) and check each voter against a list of registered voters. It’s easy, low-key, and very helpful to both candidates and the integrity of the system.

Lyndon Johnson used to say if you do everything you will win. Now he was referring to tactics beyond the legal but the principle is correct, the moment you relax that’s when the race can be lost, and if we blow this chance it will be our own fault.

Great minds think alike.

This November is going to look like the Fireworks scene from Police Squad

That will be the media on Election night “Nothing to see here!”

Just a thought, since democrats keep talking about new spending as an “investment” does that mean they should have to run that warning whenever they talk about spending?

I think so.

Speaking of things that deserve a big warning label:

So, like Stimulus I, which was initially intended to put infrastructure spending first, but evolved into a multi-purpose slush fund that put infrastructure last, the “infrastructure bank” envisioned by progressives on Capitol Hill would be “looking at a broader base” to finance “green energy” and “other large-scale works” based on “social benefits” determined by a panel appointed by the president.

What could go wrong?

If you are why don’t you join me at the Border Grille & Bar in Leominster Mass. I will be attending the Twin City tea party meeting that starts around 6:30 but will be staying afterward to talk and enjoy the half price appetizers and 25 cent wings.

If you are up for the tea party meeting come down and take a look, if you aren’t free till later say 9 p.m. then come afterward, we’ll enjoy some blogger company, do a segment or two of DaTechGuy’s field guide to bloggers, and maybe film a brief bloggers round table for our readers.

I’ll even bring extra hats in the car. What do you say?
