I’ll Believe it When I See It

Yesterday during the Antifa conference Marco Rubio upstaged the rather important meeting with the news that they where on the verge of a breakthrough in the middle east.

Now I have woken up and the news is Hamas has accepted stage one of the peace deal and the hostages (at least the living ones) will be released on Monday.

Now I don’t for one minute doubt the deal making ability of this Trump administration which has pulled rabbits out of their hats on more occasions then I can count.

But what I DO doubt is the sincerity of Hamas, I doubt that they will release the living hostages, I doubt that they will release the bodies of the dead, I doubt they will disarm and I doubt they will give up killing Jews.

My guess is that they will (at absolute best) release the living hostages and then dig in their heels figuring Trump will not be as adamant about dead bodies when it comes to pushing the peace plan. Of course we might not actually see all the living hostages released either. Given Hamas’ history we also might not see any hostages released and Hamas back out at the last minute.

Now in fairness I’ve argued from the beginning that Israel should consider the hostages dead and crush Hamas without mercy. I know that’s a hard thing but the destruction of Hamas will save a lot more lives in the long run, but it’s not my call it’s Israel’s call and if they were willing to lose troops to free these people then so be it.

Bottom line: I’ll believe that the hostages will be released when they are all turned over to Israel till then I’ll watch and wait.

I hope I’m wrong.

If I am and Trump not only gets the hostages, but secures peace then the Nobel Peace Prize will not be good enough for him.

About a dozen years ago back when I was doing door to door pitching for advertisers for the old DaTechGuy on DaRadio show I found myself in a Doctor’s office. He told me that his practice was restricted to immigrants, legal or otherwise, who were covered by Mass Health (our state’s universal healthcare system). Remembering the nature of my grandparents and the Italian immigrants who tended to downplay sickness I knew I expressed surprise that he could make a practice out of it. He told me that it was exactly the opposite, that the current batch of immigrants came in for every little thing and that he was constantly billing the state for it. As he put it, looking at my city, anyone who didn’t build his business model on this was a fool.

That’s what I thought about when I saw this write-up about Gaza:

Under the rule of Hamas in Gaza, beginning in 2005, the smuggling tunnel industry in Rafah (from Egypt) flourished, which in addition to arms also transported goods into Gaza and controlled the markets in Gaza. The tunnels served as a gold mine for a large group of Gazans, controlled by Hamas and other terrorist organizations. Dozens of them became millionaires (!) from that corrupt underground activity. from

Like Democrat non-profits in the US they didn’t let a crisis go to waste.

Gaza’s millionaires live in mansions overlooking the beach in Gaza, with luxury furniture smuggled from Europe and the Gulf countries, they are surrounded by servants, drivers, private tutors for their children, security and maintenance personnel. They drive in luxury cars, some of them own yachts in Qatar, they eat in prestigious restaurants and go on prestigious vacations all over the world, their children study in academies abroad. In all the mansions – there are underground shelters for protection against war.

In Gaza the wealth is not equally distributed, there is a layer of millionaires, even billionaires, who got rich from corruption and the industry of death and terrorism, many senior Hamas officials and their associates simply steal the donations money and the Qatari money that is transferred to support the Gazan population – into their own pockets. There is an intermediate layer that also prospers indirectly from these industries and the wages that Hamas pays its members, and there is a layer of very poor unemployed people who are completely dependent on them.

Gaza is neither an “open air prison” nor a “concentration camp”, it is tragically a society ruled by corrupt leaders who created extreme class gaps and send the poor to die for the continued maintenance of the bloody terrorist industry and the donations that enrich them personally beyond imagination.

And don’t think for one moment that the NGO’s and the UN administrators who are constantly seeking money here are not getting their cut. Again like US pols who divert taxfunds to dem NGO and reap campaign contributions from it.

Remember that the pullout of Israel from Gaza was to demonstrate to the world Israel’s good faith, instead all it did was create a money pit for those who wanted to get rich off terror. An entire economy built on death, sort of like the abortion industry.

What would they do once Israel was gone?

As I look at the situation in Oakland where lawlessness is out of control and the situation in Gaza where the Palestinians of the area find themselves longing for the days before Oct 7th in and Southport where both the community and the entire British nation are reeling from riots caused after the murder of multiple school children there is one thing that connects them all.

All of these disasters are self inflicted.

In Oakland they have voted left, left and further left, they have failed to enforce the laws and protected crime, they have condemned those who oppose said crime. In short, they have behaved like a liberal city and like many liberal cites in the US those who have the power to get out have and thus they find themselves with a shrinking tax base, lawlessness in the streets and no prospect for it to change. Even the Oakland A’s who moved there in 1968 are getting out of town and will actually be playing in a minor league park before their final move to Vegas where fans will be safe.

None of this happens without the votes of the public.

In Gaza once Israel pulled out 20 years ago the populace voted in Hamas. They gave silent approval as elections no longer took place and aid money went to tunnels, some so large that you could drive trucks through them. They had no issue with hospitals built with command centers for war, rockets regularly firing into Israel and when the October 7th attacks took place, Palestinians “civilians” were the second wave the looted Israeli homes and beat captives taken back to their land.

Israel finally waking from their long period of tolerance for these attacks has gone in and crushed Gaza, With the taking of the border with Egypt and the demolishing and capture of the tunnels brining in weapons it’s only a matter of time before the weapon and ammo stores fail and the final rout of Hamas is completed.

Meanwhile Gaza has cities crushed from war and finds themselves dependent on external aid…which Hamas still steals and resells for profit.

All of this is the result of choosing Hamas and more importantly choosing killing Jews over living and bettering their own lives.

In England the Labor government and the Labor party has been encouraging unfettered immigration without assimilation for decades but more importantly they have encouraged law enforcement to look the other way when these guest commit crimes or march and take over cities.

When the left rioted and destroyed they “felt their pain” but when native English prayed or posted opinions against this the full wait of the govvernment was used against them.

Finally with the murder of children people have had enough to the point where there are not only riots in England but in Northern Ireland Unionists and the IRA have untied against the two tiered justice system.

It would be easy to blame Labor but conservatives (well the British version of conservatives) were in power for a long time but were all in on this two tiered system as they wanted at all costs to not be called racists and if cities had to be taken over and girls raped and a few people killed, well it’s was all for the greater good.

Even with the unfettered immigration England could have avoided this by simply enforcing the law equally. All they had to do was law down the marker that you can’t do this kind of thing in Britain without consequences.

They did not and now the fight is on. England seems poised for perhaps its 3rd civil war. I don’t know if it will go that far but I’ll tell you it will get much worse before it gets better.

All three of these things come from not being will to see things as they are, in the light of truth. If we fail to do this as a nation their fate will be ours.

The slaying of Ismail Haniyeh one of the heads of Hamas in what should have been practically the safest place in the Islamic world for him to be is a sold reminder of an inconvenient pair of facts that all in the Arab World know is true but none will admit aloud due to the nature of their “face/shame” culture but that many of the useful idiots in the left seem to forget.

Fact One:  

The only reason why there is any Jew left alive in Israel is the Arabs inability to kill them.  They will never forgive Israel for repeatedly beating them in 1947, 1954, 1967 and 1973 and in their minds that embarrassment can only be removed by the destruction of Israel and the end of the Jewish state.  If the Arabs could they would slaughter every single Jew in Israel and celebrate the Genocide they dream of producing.  

Fact Two:  

The only reason why there is any Arab alive in Israel, Gaza and the West Bank is that Israel does not want to kill them.  They have the military might and the logistical ability to completely annihilate every single Arab in general and Palestinian in particular and have had that ability over half a century.  If Israel wanted to commit Genocide against those Arabs who wish them dead they would be dead.

I strongly suspect due to their culture of shame the only thing that angers and embarrasses the Arabs more than the first fact is the truth of the second.
