I’m only just over a third of the way through Saved by Her Enemy by Don Teague & Rafraf Barrak so normally I wouldn’t comment on the book yet, but I read something that should be read by every person who lionized the enemy:

Just before we crossed the border, the soldier driving a Humvee we were following stopped to warn us, “Watch out for children lying in the road.”

“Children?” I asked. “Why Children?”

“Because they know you won’t run them over. They line up little kids, five or six years old, across the road and force you to stop. When you do, people swarm the vehicle. They smash the windows with rocks, drag people out. You don’t want that to happen.”

“So what are we supposed to do?” I asked.

“You don’t stop. No matter what.”…

Interestingly enough they only used this tactic against civilians because they assumed that military vehicles wouldn’t bother stopping.

These are the people we are fighting and still fighting. This is the same attitude that Israel faces every day. If you don’t understand this, you either haven’t been paying attention or don’t want to pay attention.

If you read Pam Geller of course you won’t have this problem.

In my Liz Carter article, I mentioned the incredible tale of the NAACP distrusting the Main Stream Media.

FireDogLake found themselves on the opposite side of the MSM during the great Obamacare debate and found themselves questioning the media as well.

The signicifance? Once you start questioning the media you stop taking certain things on faith, such as our troops as murderers:

I want to first start by saying that Wikileaks has really misled the public on the details of this video. They made it sound like it was an unprovoked massacre of unarmed civilians, and so it angers me when I wasted my time watching this video to see nothing like that.

Now in comments people are taking different sides but the very fact that there are people taking sides here is incredible. The times they are a changin.

No wonder CNN is suddenly trying the truth about Tea Party rallies.

Iraq reality vs Iraq fantasy…

Yesterday at the Oscars that I didn’t watch, a movie that I didn’t see, painting yet another grim picture of a war that hollywood still doesn’t support managed to win an Oscar.

War is a grim thing and those who fight it understand that its ending is a wonderful thing but wars are fought for a reason and for a result.

Meanwhile in the real world Iraq had an election yesterday and despite violence by those who want to kill this very young republic. They don’t seem to be succeeding.

Hollywood’s biggest failure has been their repeated attempts to convince the American People that Iraq is Vietnam and their attempts to paint the soldiers of Iraq the same way they painted Vietnam vets.

When covering the Iraqi elections she acknowledged the “cropped” cover from Newsweek.

There are times when Mika drives me crazy (and I’m not talking in the “handsome woman sense”) but I’ve got to say when she is wrong she is usually wrong honest and she tries harder to be fair than any liberal I’ve seen on TV.

OMB did I hear Norah O’Donnell just admit that the problem with Obamacare is with the democrats? Cripes did someone put journalism pills in their Starbucks today?

They now are laughing at rep Massa’s “atmosphere” statement.
