Yesterday I noted the 4th of July parade where The Jews and Muslims marched one after the other and noted: Only in America.

Today Atlas via Jihad watch reminds of the other side of Islam that our pols like to ignore:

Christians in Kerala now started getting the true taste of Jihad . Five Jihadi fanatics today chopped of the hands of Malayalam Professor.

A Malayalam professor T J Joseph of the Newman College, who is under suspension for preparing a defamatory question for an exam paper, was attacked by a gang of five men at Muvatupuzha when he was coming back from church.

His crime – A question prepared by the professor for a Exam was offensive to Jihadis.

Unfortunately we can’t look at Islamic violence and say “Only in Malaysia”

A sign of sanity: Mosab Hassan Yousef case dropped

A rare sign of good news and sanity from the war on terror:

EMET has just received word directly from Mosab that the Government has officially dismissed its deportation case against Mosab Hassan Yousef at a federal detention center in San Diego.

Mosab has told us that it was thanks to the efforts of EMET that the government decided to dismiss its case and grant him political asylum.

We talked a bit about Mosab here, but other blogs such as Camp of the Saints and The Lonely Conservative and Maggie’s Notebook really carried the ball on this one.

Now that he won’t be a gimme target back home look for him to be more of a target here, so that means he will need to be more careful.

…is that the other side believes it is and acts accordingly:

Faisal Shahzad called himself a Muslim soldier and threatened more attacks to come after the botched May 1 Times Square terror bomb attempt.

Shahzad did not appear the least bit remorseful when he pleaded guilty to 10 federal crimes in a packed federal courtroom.

This line from the article is a real gem:

It was a strange performance from a 30-year-old Shelton Connecticut man who had actually been cooperating with the government.

It is only strange if you think this is a criminal case. If you understand that we are fighting a war against radical Islam it makes perfect sense.

Eventually our collective self delusions are going to get a lot of people killed

…I wonder what he will say about these Islamic clerics:

Sheik Yuusuf Abuu Hamza. an official from the city’s Islamist administration confirmed the arrest of world cup fans, accusing them of being guilty against Islam. “They have made a big mistake; they didn’t obey the orders not to watch the un-Islamic event of football so they will face punishment,” the militant official said.

But they can’t be racist, they’re not American. Not to mention the fact that they are Islamic and I’m sure that Mr. Zirin knows the penalty for insulting Islam. Hint it’s not removing PayPal privileges.

They’re a notably cruel bunch. Maybe they’ll make them watch it again.

All kidding aside at Blair’s link there is even worse on the subject.

Speaking of Blair I wonder if they are playing under Canadian rules?
