Sorry for the short article. This week I’m absolutely swamped with the usual preparations for my family’s annual Polish and French Canadian Christmas Eve extravaganza. 

Our feast will include Pierogies, kapusta, crepes, meat pies, and so much more.  My job every year is to make the kapusta.  I follow a recipe that has been handed down through the generations from the Szczecin region of Poland.  I’ve also brewed two batches of homebrew beer to share with everyone.

I’m living in the household where our extended family gathers for every holiday.  The usual throng of relatives will gather here again this Christmas Eve.  Not a single relative has canceled out. We are not altering our festivities in any way at all.  We have done this all during pandemic, except for the Easter Brunch that happened a couple weeks into the pandemic.  We canceled that particular holiday gathering at the beginning out of an abundance of caution because no one knew just then the true nature of the Wuhan Virus. 

Ever since then we have held every single family gathering including major holidays, minor holidays, and a great many birthdays.  Not a single one of us wears a mask or gives a damn about anyone’s vaccination status.  Everyone hugs the customary amount and no one social distances at all. 

Last year the governor of our state banned all gathering in private homes of over ten people.  We steadfastly ignored his ban even though we faced heavy fines.  We are determined to do the same again if that idiot institutes the same fascist restrictions.

Unfortunately a large segment of the population in this country have succumbed to the fear and restrictions, and are canceling their Christmas festivities once again this year. They are missing out on so much.

It saddens me and angers me so much that so many countries have descended into abject tyranny and are placing draconian restrictions on the Christmas festivities of their entire populations. 

Mass non-compliance and mass resistance to all of this tyranny is the only way everyone’s holidays festivities will be truly free again.

Happy 230th Birthday to the Bill of Rights

Wednesday December 15th marked the 230th anniversary of the ratification of the Bill of Rights.  Unfortunately the original meaning and purpose of that document has been so distorted that few of us are aware that the modern understanding is the exact opposite of the original meaning.  Progressives and other proponents of big government and collectivism have constructed many myths and outright lies about the Bill of Rights.  They have used these mistruths to actually strip away and trample on the rights the Bill of Rights was meant to protect.

I thought I would celebrate the anniversary of the ratification by busting some of the most outrageous and harmful lies about the Bill of Rights.

The most common myth about the Bill of Rights is that that document grants us our rights.  That if false.  All of our rights are granted to each and every individual by God.  All of our rights are God-given Natural Rights.  This most famous line by Thomas Jefferson from the Declaration of Independence states this fundamental principle so eloquently:

We hold these truths to be self-evident: That all men are created equal; that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness

The Bill of Rights does not in any way restrain state governments.  I know that that fact may even seem controversial to Conservatives and others on the political right.  That only serves to illustrate just how badly distorted the original meaning of the Bill of Rights has been.  The government created by the United States Constitution is a bottom up distributed federal republic rather than a top down consolidated national government. 

The States are mostly independent nations held together by a weak central government.   Each state constitution has a bill of rights to protect the rights of the people of that state from encroachments by the state governments.  From this exchange that took place during the drafting of the Bill of Rights you can see that James Madison attempted to extend the Bill Rights down to the states and was defeated. 

Over the past 100 years the Supreme Court has allowed the federal government to extend the Bill of Rights down to the states, in direct violation of the Constitution.  This has led to a consolidated top down national government where the states have become mere appendages of the federal government. This has done tremendous harm including Roe V Wade.

It has been maintained by the Supreme Court that the 14th Amendment incorporated the Bill of Rights down to the state level.  They only accomplished this by distorting the plain meaning of the 14th Amendment.  I discuss this in great detail in this article.

The separation of church and state is not found in any clause of the Bill Rights, nor any other part of the Constitution.  That blatantly unconstitutional doctrine was created by distorting the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment.  The proponents of the separation and state completely ignore the Free Exercise of Religion Clause of the First Amendment. The two clause together state:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof

Those two clauses prohibit the federal government from establishing an official national religion and prohibit the federal government from interfering with the free exercise of religion of every individual’  Thanks to the doctrines of the incorporation of the Bill of Rights and the separation of church and state, religion has almost been extinguished from the public square.  Nativity scenes in town halls, prayers by students at graduations, even candy canes, and so mush more has been banned,

The purpose of the Bill of Rights is to protect the rights of every individual by preventing the federal government from interfering with them in any way.  The Bill of Rights is a hands off for the federal government.  Period. End of story.

Is the Covid tyranny that is sweeping across the globe based on a heap of lies?

A large fraction of the nations of this world are descending into abject tyranny, caused by hysteria over the Wuhan Virus.  It is truly appalling to watch, knowing that it is even taking hold here in several states.

This article, Vaccine Segregation And Quarantine Camps Are Flashing Warnings To Stop Covid Insanity Before It’s Too Late, by the Federalist, chronicles the sickening tyranny.

In Austria, COVID-19 vaccines have become compulsory, and a “lockdown for the unvaccinated” has partitioned society into classes of jabbed and unjabbed. In Greece, those older than 60 without a vaccine are fined €100 ($112) a month.

Belgium, Cyprus, Denmark, France, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal, and Slovenia have all introduced vaccine passports. In Lithuania, speakeasies and “Soviet-style markets” have opened to sell groceries to those incapable of entering stores without showing a vaccine passport. Now Germany intends to violate their Nuremberg Code, introducing a “de facto Covid lockdown for the unvaccinated” and possibly mandating vaccines.

None of this compares to Australia where:

Australia is setting up COVID quarantine camps, relocating people from their homes in towns with regional outbreaks. Guards are stationed to capture and return “people who escape.” No matter the “free wifi, nice food, and aircon” provided for detainees, internment at the camp is still involuntary for international arrivals on repatriation flights. A comfortable prison is still a prison.

The author of the Federalist article notes a dangerous historical parallel between the events now regarding the Wuhan Virus and the events and rhetoric that led up to the Holocaust and other mass slaughters.

The Parasite Stress Hypothesis finds the presence of infectious disease in nations with low sanitation is a prerequisite to authoritarianism. States enforce conformist social policies to reduce transmission, or “stop the spread.” Minority groups are scapegoated as harbingers of pestilence, with propaganda depicting them as rats, fleas, or parasites. Under communism, the Ukrainian Holodomor killed millions of people with the justification that they were “pariahs, untouchables, vermin.”

In other words, there is historical precedent to the claim that demonizing your fellow man as a socially irresponsible bioweapon can precede genocide. We’re watching other frightening prerequisites move into place as well.

The rest of the world is far more susceptible to genocide and similar horrors than the United States because our constitutional system is based on inalienable individual rights, rather than collective rights granted by the government.

Jean Jacques Rousseau’s “Social Contract” conceives rights as given by the government — not recognized and protected — thus allowing the government to rescind them at any time. This belief in government as progenitor — rather than guardian — of rights, is replicated in Germany’s philosophical tradition: with Friedrich Hegel decreeing that obeying the state provides “the very conditions in which Freedom is realized.”This line of thinking is why the French revolution differed from America’s; why Germany birthed Marxism and Nazism in the span of a century; and why Europe is now subject to forced vaccination. The American experiment is unique and a bulwark against the tyranny seen overseas.

All of the hysteria caused by the Wuhan virus pandemic is based on several lies and out right fraud.  The most notable fraud involves the PCR test, which is the test almost universally used to detect Coronavirus in humans.  Check out this article by the Brownstone Institute PCR Tests and the Rise of Disease Panic

PCR tests magnify the number of target DNA particles in a swab exponentially until they become visible. Like a powerful zoom lens, the greater the magnification needed to see something, the smaller it actually is.

The magnification in PCR is measured by the number of cycles needed to make the DNA visible. Known as the Cycle Threshold (Ct) or Quantification Cycle (Cq) number, the higher the number of cycles the lower the amount of DNA in the sample.

To convert Cq numbers into doses they have to be calibrated against the Cq numbers of standard doses. If they aren’t they can easily be blown out of proportion and appear more significant than they actually are.

Take an advertisement for a car for example. With the right light, the right angle and the right magnification, a scale model can look like the real thing. We can only gauge the true size of things if we have something to measure them against.

Just like a coin standing next to a toy car proves it’s not a real one, and a shoe next to a molehill shows it’s not a mountain, the Cq of a standard dose next to the Cq of a sample shows how big the dose really is.

The idea that PCR may have been used to make a mountain out of a molehill by blowing a relatively ordinary disease outbreak out of all proportion is so shocking it’s literally unthinkable. But it wouldn’t be the first time it has happened.

The effectiveness and safety of Coronavirus vaccines is another monstrous lie.

The announcement that another variant of the Wuhan Virus is spreading across the globe is causing a marked upswing in the hysteria an tyranny.  This hysteria and tyranny is based on a fraud because the Omicron variant is a mild variant.

All of the hysteria over the Omicron Variant is truly moronic

I cannot claim credit for noticing that the anagram of the name of the latest Whuhan Virus variant is moronic.  That humorous tidbit appeared on FaceBook within minutes of the release of its name.  FaceBook went so far as to actually fact check a post I shared on that topic, proving that the FaceBook fact checkers are all partisan hacks.

After witnessing the instantaneous firestorm of panic that swept through the mainstream media immediately in the wake of the announcement of this latest variant, I felt the anagram was apt.   

Within a period of minutes of the announcement of a new variant, Joe Biden announced a travel ban affecting South Africa, where the variant was first discovered, and seven other African nations.  The governor of New York announced a state of emergency despite the fact that not one case has been documented here in the United States.  A great many other nations announced travel bans.  This was before any details about the variant were known.  This also proved that the anagram of the name is apt.

The details about the Omicron variant were released very quickly after the hysteria and the government overreaction, proving the moronic nature of the mainstream media and progressive politicians.  The title of this Newsmax article Doctor Who Discovered Omicron Slams ‘Hype,’ Travel Bans, proves just how moronic they have all been.

National Chair of the South African Medical Association, Dr. Angelique Coetzee, who made an early discovery of the Omicron variant amongst patients, says “the hype” that’s been created surrounding the variant is unwarranted.

According to Reuters, “the variant was detected and announced by South Africa’s National Institute of Communicable Diseases (NICD) on Nov. 25 from samples taken from a laboratory from Nov. 14 to Nov. 16.”

Coetzee told Reuters that in one of the “biggest hospitals” in her “area” and country of South Africa, there is only one patient who is COVID-positive on ventilation, and there has been no confirmation, as of Sunday, that Omicron is the cause.

“The hype,” Coetzee says, “that’s been created currently out there in the media and worldwide doesn’t correlate with the clinical picture. And it doesn’t warrant to just cut us off from any traveling, and bans South Africa as if we are the villains in the whole process — should not be like that.”

Coetzee, who is also on the Ministerial Advisory Committee on Vaccines, says, “looking at the mildness of the symptoms we are seeing currently, there’s no reason for panicking as we don’t see severely ill patients.”

“I also checked with the hospital, some of the hospitals in my area, and one of the biggest hospitals they only have one patient currently that’s COVID-positive on a ventilator, and they don’t even know whether it’s COVID — you know it’s Delta- or whether it is Omicron-related.”

Even Reuters is documenting the true nature of the Omicron Variant. Check out this article, quoting the South African doctor who discovered this variant: S.African doctor says patients with Omicron variant have “very mild” symptoms

“We have seen a lot of Delta patients during the third wave. And this doesn’t fit in the clinical picture,” she said, adding she alerted NICD on the same day with the clinical results.

“Most of them are seeing very, very mild symptoms and none of them so far have admitted patients to surgeries. We have been able to treat these patients conservatively at home,” she said.

Coetzee, who is also on the Ministerial Advisory Committee on Vaccines, said unlike the Delta so far patients have not reported loss of smell or taste and there has been no major drop in oxygen levels with the new variant.

There are many reasons for the immediate hysteria from the media and overreactions from governments, here and abroad. 

During the Summer I went to many large events here in southern New England, such as agricultural fairs and concerts. I also ate out in restaurants many times.  During all of those outings I noticed only a small fraction of the people were still living in fear of the Wuhan Virus.  Only about ten percent were wearing masks.  That has held true during the surge in cases caused by the Delta Variant.  That is not good news at all for the government officials who have become drunk on the power they have exercised trampling on the rights of everyone with lockdowns and mandates.

If the media does not continue to ramp up the hysteria their ratings will suffer.

Vaccine hesitancy has remained  steady so the vaccine manufacturers need to ramp up the hysteria to increase their profits.

The midterms are looking quite bad for the Democrats.  They want to recreate the conditions that led to the steal of the 2020 election from President Trump.

There are many more reasons.  The only way to fight the hysteria is with the truth
