Immediately after Joe Biden announced he was bowing out of the 2024 Presidential Election the sycophants who make up the liberal media began chanting the praises of Kamala Harris.  They have engaged in a concerted effort to distort reality and portray her as both a moderate and competent.

It is painfully obvious from Kamala’s voting record from when she was a Senator that she is a hard left ideologue

Vice President Kamala Harris was rated the most liberal senator in 2019 — further left than even Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) — according to a GovTrack scorecard.

Harris, whom President Joe Biden opted to back after announcing that he will not seek reelection after all, was viewed as the most liberal senator prior to her becoming vice president.

According to GovTrack, the ideology analysis assigns a score to lawmakers according to their “legislative behavior by whether they sponsor and cosponsor overlapping sets of bills and resolutions with other Members of Congress.”

“The score can be interpreted as a left–right scale measuring the dominant ideological difference or differences among Members of Congress, although of course it only takes into account a small aspect of reality,” it explains.

In a list of all 100 senators in 2019, Harris scored #100, winning the title of the most leftist senator. For greater perspective, Sanders came in right behind her at #99. On the flip side, Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) scored as the most conservative senator that year.

Just how damaging was the report on Kamala Harris’ voting record? Election Interference: GovTrack Deletes Its Page On Kamala As “Most Liberal of All U.S. Senators” (legalinsurrection.com)

Like all hardcore leftists, Kamala Harris does not place much stock in freedom.

Just like Obama and Biden, Kamala Harris would trample the individual liberty of each and American, and the Constitution, using unconstitutional executive orders: By The Way, Kamala Harris Is A Dangerous Authoritarian (thefederalist.com)

Kamala was never one for legalism. When candidate Biden argued that Harris’ promise to issue an executive order unilaterally banning access to certain guns would be unconstitutional, she retorted: “I would just say: Hey, Joe, instead of saying ‘No we can’t,’ let’s say yes, we can,’” before cackling at the very notion that presidents couldn’t do whatever they wanted.

As a national candidate, Kamala said she believed immigration laws should be treated as civil, rather than criminal, offenses. So, of course, Biden gave Kamala the job of border czar — she did not perform admirably, to say the least — where she noted that one of the “root causes” of the problem was a “lack of climate resilience,” before sending corrupt regimes hundreds of millions of dollars.

As a candidate, Harris supported abolishing private health insurance — “Let’s eliminate all of that. Let’s move on,” she told CNN. In addition to nationalizing health care and education, Kamala wants the government to control the manufacturing sector, the auto industry, food … and any industry that emits carbon.

Harris was in favor of getting rid of the filibuster to overturn state voting laws, nationalizing abortion on demand until birth, and passing the Green New Deal — an authoritarian takeover of the economy written by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, which would not only ban all fossil fuels force Americans to retrofit every building in in the country, eliminate air travel and meat, create government-guaranteed jobs, among many other authoritarian measures.

Before the Obama presidency the Secret Service was nonpolitical and the class of the world when it comes to protection.  The Secret Service was one of the victims of Obama’s fundamental transformation of the United States.  Like the FBI, CIA, and so many other federal agencies, Obama turned the Secret Service into a wing of the Democrat Party and the Deep State.

It seems obvious from the disastrous response to the assignation attempt on President Trump, the Biden regime turned the Secret Service into an incompetent woke clown troop:

The director of the Secret Service is refusing to step down after one of the worst agency failures since President Ronald Reagan was shot in 1981. On Saturday, former President Donald Trump had part of his ear blown off as a result of federal officials’ refusal to secure the rooftop of a building just 450 feet from a Pennsylvania rally platform.

The agency chief went on to blame local law enforcement in Pennsylvania for the cascade of security lapses that ultimately culminated in the Republican presidential nominee taking a gunshot to the ear and only surviving by a miracle. Two rallygoers were injured in the assassination attempt and a third was killed.

The screw ups perpetrated by the director of the Secret Service, who is a DEI hire, are truly mind boggling.

During her interview with ABC News, the Secret Service chief emphasized security of the building from where a gunman shot Trump was the responsibility of local police.

“In this particular instance, we did share support for that particular site and that the Secret Service was responsible for the inner perimeter,” she said. “And then we sought assistance from our local counterparts for the outer perimeter. There was local police in that building — there was local police in the area that were responsible for the outer perimeter of the building.”

With that statement the director proved to be absolutely clueless.

The Secret Service, however, is ultimately in charge of the overall security plan, and according to The Washington Post, “also has primary responsibility for addressing the risk of a long-range shooter and blocking lines of sight, including by instructing local police to secure or stand guard at buildings that could provide an opportunity for an attacker.”

Three counter-snipers were positioned in the building underneath the roof from which Saturday’s gunman fired multiple shots. According to Channel 11 News, a local Pennsylvania outlet, law enforcement had spotted the shooter nearly a half hour before Trump was hit. NBC News reported the Secret Service was even made aware of the unique threat presented by the building at the rally “days” before the event, and yet the Secret Service chief said the reason law enforcement did not secure the rooftop was because it was “sloped.”

The level of incompetence demonstrated by the Secret Service when it mattered the most was far to coincidental to be spontaneous.  That level of negligence requires careful planning: Biden’s Team Crippled Trump’s Security To Allow Murder Attempt (thefederalist.com)

They kept the rooftop open, watched the shooter, kept Trump on the stage, and didn’t do a damn thing until after he had been shot. And we’re supposed to believe it was an innocent oopsie?

Nobody wants to hear this because of the implications, but oh well, because it needs to be said: Joe Biden’s security regime deliberately and with malice aforethought created the conditions that led to an attempted assassin shooting Donald Trump in the head. It is by the grace of God that he lived and our nation is not currently in the midst of a violent civil war.

They deliberately starved Trump’s security team of the resources it needed. And they did it repeatedly, over many weeks and months.

This next set of coincidences are quite a damning indictment of the Secret Service in particular, and the Biden Regime in general.

With Trump’s security detail understaffed, under-resourced, and stretched to its limits, Biden’s security regime reportedly diverted even more resources to a hastily planned Jill Biden event that just happened to be in the area.

Biden’s security regime then ordered the most obvious assassination perch in the entire area to remain outside the main security perimeter.

Furthermore, Biden’s Secret Service director ordered law enforcement and counter-snipers OFF the roof the assassin used.

If that weren’t enough, Biden’s security regime also refused to block the line of sight from the assassin’s perch to Trump’s location. When law enforcement radioed in a suspicious person using a laser range finder at the building and even took photos of him, nothing was done to detain the assassin.

Time and again the Republican Party has proved to be its own worst enemy.  Way too often the leadership has snatched defeat from the jaws of victory by behaving rather stupidly, at the worst possible moment.  Examples of this include nominating squishes like Romney and McCain, purging Conervatives from leadership positions, and constantly squabbling with each other.

Just this past week the leadership of the Republican Party executed another of their patented mind numbing blunders.  As happens with astonishing regularity, the Christian satire site Babylon Bee provided very informative and entertaining analysis of the GOP’s latest screw-up: Republican Party Implements Emergency Platform Change After Seeing How Close They Are To Winning Landslide Victory | Babylon Bee

U.S. — With campaigning for November’s elections running at full speed and polls showing GOP candidates building sizeable leads, the Republican Party rushed to implement an emergency platform change after seeing how close they were to winning a landslide victory.

Struggles on the Democratic side of the ticket, including the growing scandal surrounding President Joe Biden’s cognitive ability, led to Republicans gaining tremendous momentum in recent weeks, causing leaders to shift gears and push for changes to the GOP platform in hopes of avoiding any decisive wins in November.

The author of the Babylon Bee article really captures the essence of the Republican Party’s incompetence with some fictitious quotes by the actual chairman of the Republican National Committee Chairman.

“We were just getting way too close to winning big,” said Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Whatley. “Some of these recent polls really got us spooked and concerned that we might actually run away with this thing, so we knew we had to take drastic steps to avoid steamrolling our competition. These changes to our platform should help frustrate, anger, and alienate enough of our loyal voters to make the races a lot closer.”

The updated GOP platform included changes or outright omissions of longstanding Republican stances on abortion and traditional marriage, giving the party the negative reaction it was looking for from lifelong GOP voters. “Thankfully, there’s been some good backlash,” Whatley said. “With any luck, we’ll see our leads start shrinking as we head into the home stretch of these campaigns. We don’t want to do anything that might put us at risk of ensuring total victory.”

It was a sound strategic move when President Trump softened his stance on abortion.  The liberal media was painting him as an extremist on abortion.  That was costing Trump the much needed support of independents.

The abandonment of one of the cornerstones of the Republican Party’s platform is a blunder of epic proportions, especially doing it now that the Republican Party has tremendous momentum..  It is a surrender that will only sow division and acrimony.  As you can see from these headlines, it has already begun in earnest.

GOP’s Surrender On Abortion Leaves Pro-Life Voters Out To Dry (thefederalist.com)

On this, the 248th anniversary of the issuance of The Declaration of Independence, our Constitutional Republic balances on a razor’s edge.  Thanks to our out-of-control federal government the United States is on the brink of descending into an abyss of absolute tyranny.  I think today is the perfect day to try and determine if the British government we fought to escape from was more tyrannical than the federal government is today.

It is time to examine some of the grievances enumerated in the Declaration of Independence and compare them to abuses of power committed by our current totalitarian federal government,

He has refused his assent to laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good.

The federal government has completely disregarded the letter and spirit of the Constitution.  The Deep State, the administrative state, and presidents who rule via imperial edict now pretend to be the three branches of the federal government.

He has forbidden his governors to pass laws of immediate and pressing importance, unless suspended in their operation till his assent should be obtained; and, when so suspended, he has utterly neglected to attend to them.

The Supreme Court routinely overturns state laws despite the fact that they were never given the constitutional authority to do so. The federal government routinely passes profoundly unconstitutional laws that trample the sovereignty of the states.

He has dissolved representative houses repeatedly, for opposing, with manly firmness, his invasions on the rights of the people.

He has refused for a long time, after such dissolutions, to cause others to be elected; whereby the legislative powers, incapable of annihilation, have returned to the people at large for their exercise; the state remaining, in the mean time, exposed to all the dangers of invasions from without and convulsions within.

The federal government has completely abandoned its constitutional duty to secure the borders of the United States, opening this nation up to an invasion of illegal immigrants.

He has obstructed the administration of justice, by refusing his assent to laws for establishing judiciary powers.

The federal government has engaged in lawfare against a presidential candidate and the American people.

He has erected a multitude of new offices, and sent hither swarms of officers to harass our people and eat out their substance.

The federal government now consists of innumerable agencies, none of which are authorized by the Constitution.  All of them trample on the rights of the American people.

For taking away our charters, abolishing our most valuable laws, and altering fundamentally the forms of our governments;

The federal government has disregarded the Constitution so thoroughly that they have transformed the United States from a Constitutional Republic built on individual liberty into a socialist democracy built upon collectivism.

By a very wide margin the federal government today is more tyrannical than British government of 1776.  This has come about slowly because far too few of us value freedom and individual liberty.  Far too of us have stood up against the tyrannical government and have said enough is enough. If we as a people do not stand up and demand a return to our Constitutional Republic the time may soon approach when we need a second revolution.
