Democrats have two extremely unfair advantage when it comes to every election. The first advantage is produced by mainstream news outlets.  It is painfully obvious to any rational human being that the media is made up of sycophants and cheerleaders for the political left.

In every election cycle, it is abundantly easier for Democrats to appear to have “momentum” when the media prattle on about their supposed momentum. It is easier to declare Democratic campaigns are “flawless” when the media steamroll over any flaw that emerges. It is easier to look “really smart” when journalists tell everyone you’re smart, and if voters don’t understand you have a stunning intellect, then you’re “misunderstood.”

The media act like the wind beneath Kamala’s wings, and then they praise her flying skills.

Her weaknesses are buried as Donald Trump’s strengths are attacked. She fails to empathize with Gold Star parents whose children were killed in Afghanistan, and the media attack Trump for having the chutzpah to show up at Arlington National Cemetery at their invitation. The only scandals that aren’t fake news are the Republican scandals.

Just about half the population get all of their news from sources that are extremely biased. They only get half the story and what they do get is extremely distorted.

These same Americans lack the ability to question what they hear coming from their TVs and read in their newspapers.  They seek out only sources online that conform to their progressive beliefs system, and they attack anyone who dares to disagree with them.  That is because the American educational system was replaces with a Marxist brainwashing conglomeration decades ago.  Here are three quotes by the great Thomas Sowell which illustrate just how dysfunctional our educational system truly is.

The problem isn’t that Johnny can’t read. The problem isn’t even that Johnny can’t think. The problem is that Johnny doesn’t know what thinking is; he confuses it with feeling.

Our whole educational system, from the elementary schools to the universities, is increasingly turning out people who have never heard enough conflicting arguments to develop the skills and discipline required to produce a coherent analysis, based on logic and evidence. The implications of having so many people so incapable of confronting opposing arguments with anything besides ad hominem responses reach far.

Whether blatant or subtle, brainwashing has become a major, time-consuming activity in American education at all levels. Some zealots have not hesitated to use the traditional brain-washing technique of emotional trauma in the classroom to soften up children for their message. Gruesome and graphic movies on nuclear war, for example, have reduced some school children to tears—after which the teacher makes a pitch for whatever movement claims to reduce such dangers. Another technique is the ambush shock: A seventh-grade teacher in Manhattan, for example, innocently asked her students to discuss their future plans—after which she said: “Haven’t any of you realized that in this world with nuclear weapons no one in this class will be alive in the year 2000?”75 These

For the past several decades Progressives have maintained almost complete control over the entire educational system of the United States. The evidence of that is everywhere.   Would Kamala Harris be remotely competitive in this presidential election if half the electorate was not utterly indoctrinated?  This election would be a landslide for Trump.

If the founding principles of the United States and civics were still taught in school would the American people have complied so meekly with all of the COVID tyranny that swept across this nation four years ago.  Hell no.

The American people would not put up with having nearly half of the income confiscated by the government every year.  The Boston Tea Party is proof of this.

If the Left did not have a stranglehold on our educational system half of the population would not by stymied by basic scientific truths such as the fact that males and females are different.  Half of the American people would not be ready to lynch you for declaring that man-made climate change is a fraud.

Freedom of speech would not be controversial at all if half the population was not brainwashed.  Facebook and the rest of the social media outlets would not be able to censor their users at all.

The mainstream media would have very few viewers for their propaganda filled broadcasts if these viewers were not first thoroughly indoctrinated.

The political left began their takeover of the American educational system back in the sixties.  Their opening move was quite brilliant.   They infected teacher colleges.  The graduates spread their contagion to the college level.  Over the past decade even grade schools became cesspools of Marxist indoctrination.

Several years ago parents began speaking out at school board meeting against the brainwashing of their children.  This was so successful the justice department under Joe Biden took action.  If more parents spoke out, that would be a good start.

Cutting off the flow of money from the federal government to colleges would be a big help, along with abolishing the Department of Education.  The unholy alliance between teacher unions and the Democrat Party also needs to come to an end.

There is so much more that needs to be done and little time left if we want to salvage our Constitutional Republic.

I’m not quite sure when progressive indoctrination replaced actual civics here in the United States.  I’m not sure anyone is because this transformation was gradual and stealthy.  In an attempt to research that point for this article I searched for the following phrase on Google: “when did social studies replace civics.”  Here is the most informative quote the anti oracles at Google provided:

Until the 1960s, it was common for American high school students to have three separate courses in civics and government. But civics offerings were slashed as the curriculum narrowed over the ensuing decades, and lost further ground to “core subjects” under the NCLB-era standardized testing regime

The response was just what I expected.  The transition began in the 1960s, when the Marxists began their transformation of the United States from a Constitutional Republic into a socialist democracy.  When I started grade school in the late 1970s the class was called social studies but civics was still at the core of the subject.  When I ended grade school it was more social studies and less civics.  That trend continued through my high school years.  When I attended the University of Massachusetts real civics was difficult to find.

The NCLB mentioned in the quote is the abbreviation for No Child Left Behind, one of George W. Bush’s crowning achievements.  Until Obama’s Common Core came along it was the worst thing to ever happen to American Public education.

It is extraordinarily safe to say that progressive indoctrination is now completely out of control here in the United States, at all levels.  It has infected all subject.  It has taken so many different forms, all of which are meant to turn every single student into an ignorant, unquestioning, and obedient slave.  The political left does not want educated free citizens.  The more ignorant, immoral, and unhappy we are the easier it will be for the Democrats to control us and all aspects of our lives

This quote from a Benjamin Rush Essay written in 1786 provided the inspiration for my article this week.  It appeared in my Facebook news feed in the form of a meme shared by the Atlas Society.

Freedom can exist only in the society of knowledge. Without learning, men are incapable of knowing their rights, and where learning is confined to a few people, liberty can be neither equal nor universal.

James Madison wrote something very similar in a letter in written in 1822.

A popular government, without popular information, or the means of acquiring it, is but a Prologue to a Farce or a Tragedy; or, perhaps both. Knowledge will forever govern ignorance: And a people who mean to be their own Governors must arm themselves with the power which knowledge gives.”

My favorite founding father, Thomas Jefferson, wrote this to Charles Yancey, 6 January 1816.

if a nation expects to be ignorant & free, in a state of civilisation, it expects what never was & never will be. the functionaries of every government have propensities to command at will the liberty & property of their constituents. there is no safe deposit for these but with the people themselves; nor can they be safe with them without information. where the press is free and every man able to read, all is safe.

Unless the American people seize back control of our entire educational system real soon, we will no longer be a free country.

For many decades those on the political left have been pushing the deeply untruthful idea that the United States was, is now, and will always be a deeply racist nation with no redeeming qualities at all.  They are doing this by focusing exclusively on our nation’s two biggest sins, slavery and segregation, while ignoring all of the tremendous good the United States has always done and always has stood for.  Leftists are doing this because they want to replace the Constitution, our founding principles of liberty and individual rights, and our free market economy with collectivism and socialism.  They very mistakenly believe that collectivism and socialism would bring about a perfect society rather than the absolute hell they always bring about.

Critical Race Theory is the latest attempt by the political left to  re-brand the United States as a deeply racist nation in the minds of school and college students, along with those who are gullible and misinformed.  CRT is the latest of many attempts, however, it is the most successful because it is being crammed down our throats by two of the most powerful allies of the political left in their attempts to destroy the United States, teachers unions and major corporations.

This Breitbart article Pollak: Critical Race Theory, Explained contains the best definition of Critical Race Theory that I have found after a lot of research.

Critical Race Theory claims that all of our institutions — our government, our economy, our culture — are based on racial hierarchy, with whites on top and blacks at the bottom. Even things that look race-neutral are, on closer inspection, racist.

The author of the article goes on to document the history of Critical Race Theory.  It pleases me greatly to see that Andrew Breitbart was one of the earliest critics of CRT,

It was the invention of a group of radical left-wing intellectuals known as the Frankfurt School, who developed it to achieve through cultural change what Marxism could not achieve politically.

Breitbart wrote: “It was, quite literally, a theory of criticizing everyone and everything everywhere. It was an attempt to tear down the social fabric by using all the social sciences … it was an infinite and unending criticism of the status quo, adolescent rebellion against all established rules and norms. … Critical theory does not create, it only destroys.”

Critical Theory spawned various offshoots. One of them was Critical Legal Theory, which said that the Constitution, our judicial system, and our laws could never be neutral or objective because they existed to protect those who created them.

This Breitbart News article Pollak: Eight Years Later, Andrew Breitbart Vindicated on Critical Race Theory sheds more light on the history of CRT.

The Critical Race Theory training was exposed by Christopher Rufo, a contributing editor for the Manhattan Institute’s City Journal.

Yet the first to sound the alarm was Andrew Breitbart.

In a story that was only published after his death in March 2012, video that Breitbart had teased at the Conservative Political Action Conference just weeks before was finally released. It showed a young Barack Obama speaking at a protest at Harvard Law School in favor of Professor Derrick Bell, who had clashed with the university over the issue of faculty diversity.

More than that, Bell was the founder of the doctrine of Critical Race Theory.

Critical Race Theory holds that the United States is racist by design, because its Constitution and all of its other institutions emerged in a context where slavery was legal. According to the theory, the very institution of private property in the U.S. is corrupt because it was enshrined in a system that saw black people as chattels.

This American Thinker article What is Critical Race Theory? documents the Marxist roots of Critical Race Theory.

Instead of abandoning Marxist ideas to the dustbin of history, along with the notion of a flat earth, alchemy, and phrenology, American academics have simply substituted “race” for “class” and relabeled Marxism as Critical Race Theory.  The “capitalists” have been replaced with “whiteness,” and the oppressed are everyone else.

Like a bacterium that is resistant to antibiotics, Critical Race Theory is even more difficult to confront than Marxism, because those who oppose Marxism can only be slandered as “greedy capitalists,” while those who oppose CRT can be defamed as “racist.”  Even more ingenious is the substitution of Western civilization (i.e., the ideas of science and reason that began with the ancient Greeks, was adopted by the Romans, and thus spread throughout Europe) for “white supremacy.”  Thus, one cannot use reasoned arguments to refute CRT because rational thought is now considered a product of “white supremacy.”  (This is also how math can now be considered “racist.”)

Teachers Unions are at the forefront of making sure all school and college students in the United States are brainwashed with this hideous garbage, as you can see from this article Parents Don’t Want Critical Race Theory, So Of Course The Nation’s Largest Teachers Union Just Decided To Push It Harder

The nation’s largest teachers union, the National Education Association, was one of the most notable organizations to embrace boosting racist teacher training and curriculum across the country. In addition to voting to dig up dirt on organizations that oppose the implementation educating children to view the world through the lens of race and oppression during the virtual conference last week, the Democrat donor group also passed a leftist-driven resolution committing its more than 3 million members to a “study that critiques empire, white supremacy, anti-Blackness, anti-Indigeneity, racism, patriarchy, cisheteropatriarchy, capitalism, ableism, anthropocentrism, and other forms of power and oppression at the intersections of our society.”

In the past few weeks nine states have outlawed the teaching of Critical Race Theory.  As you can see from the title of this article Teachers Unions Urge Educators to Defy State Laws to Push Critical Race Theory teachers unions will not stop at anything in their quest to brainwash generations of school children into hating this great nation.

Teachers unions are not alone because A disturbing look at corporate Critical Race Theory brainwashing.

It is absolutely essential the all of us who truly believe in the principles of individual liberty, individual rights, the Constitution, and free market capitalism stand up to the left and make sure no more school children are brainwashed with this Marxist garbage
