…but did I just hear somebody (Sam Stein) on Morning Joe suggest that the media gave Barack Obama scrutiny when the reverend Wright stuff came out? Somehow nobody bothered to call him on it.

I’m sure I must still be dreaming and when I wake up the young fellow to Pat’s left who’s face I don’t recognize is going to take that back.

The context is Rubio’s use of a GOP credit card and the media is running whole hog on it in the hopes of dropping him but let me give you a clue, ain’t gonna happen. If Marco wasn’t winning in a walk we wouldn’t be seeing this period.

I’ll say it bluntly VOTE RUBIO!

…Katherine Jenerette picks an endorsement from Warriors for Congress. And these people are picky:

Warriors for Congress will help a select group of Congressional candidates who have served honorably with the U.S. Armed Forces. These candidates have sworn to protect the Constitution from enemies foreign and domestic, and they must act on that oath and uphold it. They must understand that the Constitution is the basis for the free society in the United States in which citizens have the God-given rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Warriors for Congress will vet candidates, interview them, and ensure that they want to stop deficit spending; refuse to increase the weight of the government on our citizens; stand ready to protect American citizens and America’s security anywhere in the world; fight tax increases, refuse to vote for or enact any law that does not also apply to Congressional members; and understand explicitly that, if elected, they work for the citizens, not the other way around.

There are only eight candidates they are endorsing nationally, it’s quite an honor to be one of them. In a field as crowded as this one that can make a huge difference.

…Robert Stacy has a story up about Vernon Parker running in the 3rd Arizona district who is first rate:

That’s the American dream he wants to preserve for future generations. “I had made a commitment that, if I got out of the environment that I grew up in, what I would do is to work to get others out, because there are a lot more Vernon Parkers out there,” he says. “I always wanted to make a change, make a difference, and the way that I figured we could do that was through the law.”

That is exactly the attitude that needs to be promoted. No wonder Stacy and Barbara are so high on him.

After enduring attacks by Arianna “I get invited to the right parties” Huffington for his failing as Mayor during what was supposed to be a segment about his endorsement of Marco Rubio in Florida.

He pointed out just how far left Barack Obama is and the camera whet to Eugene Robinson of the Washington Post.

A nice split screen came up with Robinson telling us how much to the center the president is, and Rudy was laughing his head off as he says it.

It looked like me when someone says: “There is no such thing as organized Crime.” anywere near me.

Remember Rudy is not a conservative icon, if you can’t convince Rudy on this one, you can’t convince anyone. The TV ad writes itself.

Update: Robert Stacy has video of the Arianna stuff but not the Eugene Robinson stuff.
