BTW I have to disagree with Stacy. It isn’t a case of Palin Phobia it’s a case of Gregg doing legwork for another GOP candidate so he doesn’t have to get his hands dirty with a grass-roots that won’t forgive or forget.

We have ACTUAL DEATH THREATS against ACTUAL SITTING MEMBERS of an ACTUAL LEGISLATURE that the MSM is ignoring and not reporting on and Morning Joe is hitting Sarah Palin over the video response from January?
The question of responding or no is interesting but frankly old .

When she walked in I was in the lobby and she was IMMEDIATELY swarmed by every person and camera in sight. Media camera hit her as well. What are these people thinking?
I know what I was thinking, poor Dana Milbank, even Palin impersonators generate memeorandum stories. Somebody pull him away from the bridge.

Another fun thing to do is ask reporters if they want to be interviewed they generally decline which is very funny because as a rule they make their living asking people questions.
I understand that Stacy McCain was making conversation with Maureen Dowd while she was trying to get in and that Maureen Down was in full “who are you talking to be talking to me” mode. That doesn’t speak well of Miss Dowd.
Anyway that’s what’s running through my head right now.

In my opinion you don’t cede the ground on a position to a different side, you show up and make your case.
I don’t have a problem with those who choose to boycott CPAC, Its their call but I’d just as soon not have the case for marriage conceded. I would think that the hearts and minds of thousands of conservatives in one place, hundreds of bloggers and etc are worth fighting for.
Although I am a Catholic I have to be with Jerry Falwell on this: “I’ll preach in hell if they promise to let me out.” or if you prefer one of my favorite movie reference:
British Captain: “I understood Mr. LaFitte was in command at Barataria.”
Jean LaFitte: “If your offer is good it will stand up under fire.”
The arguments for marriage are good, they stand up under fire. We should go to CPAC and make them.
